30 June 2004: EADS Socata celebrates the 300thTBM 700 business aircraft, which features a single pressurised engine

On the occasion of a TBM 700 demo tour inToluca, Mexico City's dedicated business aviationairport, located at an altitude of 8,448 ft, we wereable to demonstrate that the TBM 700 can take offwith 2,700 ft with six persons aboard. A Learjet 25,on the other hand, needs 6,000 ft with only fourpersons aboard and has a direct operating costthat is four times higher

“ I appreciate the importance of the

arrival of the new Tiger helicopter

into our army. This aircraft is the

perfect example of what an army

has to do in order to be one

of the world's top armies. It is a

first-class tool. The Tiger is also an

The French Délégation Générale pour

l'Armement received the first EC 725

on 10 February 2005 at Eurocopter's

Marignane site. This aircraft will be used

by the French air force to fulfil its combat

SAR missions. Deliveries will take place

during 2005 and 2006. The latest addition

to the Cougar family, the EC 725 benefits

from the experience of its predecessors

and is fitted with many technical

improvements. The French air force,

inaugural client of the EC 725 programme,

will operate six of these helicopters.

The army has ordered eight units to equip

the special operations units of

the French army air corps.
