Fewer than 3 in 10 are reporting that they are developing a better qualified workforce or responding faster to changing business conditions. Only 1 in 5 report that they are increasing the sharing of good practice. So how do we get there faster?

Using video to capture and

share effective practices

Whilst most law firms have systems in place to capture legal knowhow, technical knowledge and ability are only part of a successful lawyer’s skill set. Up to now the tacit knowledge and experience has been lost or only shared in small groups.

Clifford Chance are now using video to capture and cascade that knowledge throughout the firm and is breaking new ground in the delivery of legal training.

Over 100 partners and senior lawyers were videoed. Along with practical tips and best practice, they captured both war stories and success stories.

The videos have reached over 6000 people in 26 countries and the programme has won an Excellence in Learning and development prize at the Law Society Excellence awards
