21 st June 2013 Maths café Class 4 held their café on Wednesday this week and we were very pleased at the support for this. One parent commented: ‘It was fun and was enjoyed by both parents and children. We made an analogue clock and learnt all about the value and size of numbers using pipe cleaners as well as having a game of time bingo!” Next week, on Wednesday 26 th June at 2.00pm Class 2 will be holding their Maths café’ and we look forward to seeing you there.     Class Assembly Class 1 hope you enjoyed their assembly today. They showed some more areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage. It has been a joy to watch this group develop over the year into such confident young learners. It is Class 3’s assembly on Friday 28th June, and we look forward to welcoming you to this.     Miss Hooper will be leaving us at the end of term as she will be working in “her other school” full time. We wish her well and warmly thank her for all of the clubs and sport she has helped us with.

    • Mrs Magee will be returning from her maternity leave next month on a part-time basis and we look forward to seeing her back.

    • We will be welcoming some new teachers from September: Ms L Brannan and Mrs J Pallant will both be working part time. They are both well known to the children having done a lot of work in the school this year.
