2012.12.05 Summarized Minutes COA-STC Updates STC wants more student involvement and is encouraging tie-ups between orgs. As of now, 87% of Ateneans are included in organizations. App for smartphones is now available for COA and other org officers. Also, an org yearbook is being considered. Ideas for the SOSE-STC-HEC Week were discussed. Math Department Updates Execom decided to create a new video instead of revamping the old one. The production should start as soon as possible in order to finish it by January, when the Merit Scholar's Open House will be held. The Open House will still be a 1-day event because of budget and time constraints. This year's approach will be more recruitment-oriented. The program flow for the event was also prepared. AMS is in charge of fixing the video. PAP Updates c/o EVP There were minor issues during the first day of the PAP Exhibit including the lack of room layout and low turnout ratio. Only one vote was turned in. Secretary-General Updates The scope of the YES Report will be posted on December 8, 2012. January and February "Dates to Remember" may be released. It was also suggested to use the TRELLO website in calendaring next year. Math Applications Department Mathsaya: The dry-run will be held on December 6, 2012. The overall rating for Day 2 was 3.7. Academics Department Only a few participants have confirmed for Sipnayan College so help with promotions is needed. The venues are the Sec Lecture Rooms and Faura AVR. AMO: The mechanics are already finalized. FMIC: The promotions and dates of contest rounds were discussed. There would be room-to-room promotions scheduled next week. Problem Solving Seminar 2: Dr. Francisco would facilitate the talk. Agimath is considering tie-ups with BOX. Contract with UAO would also be finalized. Dr. Debbie would adjust her schedule for the Freshmen Orientation on NSTP depending on the students schedule. She is also concerned with issues on survey forms and the formators.

Member Relations Department XMath: Final venue is in JSEC. There will be an entrance fee of P50.00. AMS Week: Some of the venues suggested for Culminight are the Cervini Rec Room, MVP Basement(plus tents in Red Brick Road) and the MVP Roofdeck. There was also an issue regarding the swapping of venues with other orgs but they eventually backed out. The Human Auction will be in two batches.

YEP: Some of the venues being considered are La Vista, Prince David Roofdeck, and somewhere in UP. The theme for the event is Fire and Ice and would be entitled "Frostburn". Fundraising for the event is also being considered.

Due to projected lack of attendees, the Execom is considering to move Family Day 2 to December 17, 2012. The possible venues are Bel field(problems with the sound system) and Cervini field.

Marketing The AMS Bazaar needs to contact more concessionaires. Issues regarding the possibilities of the PH backing out and the date being moved were discussed.
