We extend God’s kingdom when we

cast demons down, in our overcoming

at work, when poverty becomes pros-

perity, signs and wonders become daily

occurrences, and the dead are raised.

We are living out our vision to see eve-

rything restored to King Jesus!

In 2011, New Life Church aims to real-

ise this vision by being a community

that makes every effort to fellowship

with each other. We aim to demon-

strate our love for our God, for each

other and for the lost. We also aim that

in all we do, we will move in the pres-

ence, power and strength of the Holy

Spirit. We can live this vision by experi-

encing the presence of God every day

of this year (Acts 2: 42-47). By follow-

ing Jesus’ example, we can see God

demonstrate His glory in our families,

friendships, workplaces, mealtimes,

and every opportunity we have to fel-

lowship with each other. Our vision

helps us to expect the great things that

God has promised His people!

We were blessed to have Kevin speak

to us last week about our vision as New

Life Church. Our aim is to extend God’s

kingdom across the world:

“For the earth will be filled with the

knowledge of the glory of the LORD

as the waters cover the sea” Habakkuk

2:14

Kevin asked us to visualise a world

where God’s rule is being carried out

without opposition; where there is no

sadness, sin, sickness, depression, pov-

erty or death but God’s kingdom excel-

ling in joy, peace, and righteousness

(Rom 14:17).

As God’s people, we have the opportu-

nity to bring the kingdom of Heaven to

every person we meet, accelerating this

promise until the entire universe is

filled with the glory of the Lord Al-

mighty! We extend God’s kingdom

when we see restoration in marriages,

families and relationships.

New Life Church Vision 2011 - Part 1

Our vision to be a church full of...

• COMMUNITY

• LOVE

• POWER

Ask yourself: What does this mean to

my life? How can I outwork and express

all that God calls me to be?

Why not get along to a Church in the

Home this week and play your part in

discovering the new season we are in!
