SAP Best Practices Warehouse Management (WM) - Basic Settings (242): Configuration Guide
Warehouse Management (WM) - Basic Settings
1 PurposeThe purpose of this document is to describe the general configuration steps required to manually set up the configuration within the system landscape that has already been installed using the corresponding installation or configuration guides for installation.
The Configuration Guide describes how to set up the configuration of a Building Block manually, without the support of automated configuration tools. If you want to use BC Sets and CATT procedures for an automated installation process, refer to the Building Block Installation Guide of the Integration of Warehouse Management.
2 Preparation
2.1 PrerequisitesBefore you start installing this building block, you must install prerequisite building blocks. For more information, see the building block prerequisite matrix (Prerequisites_Matrix_[xx]_EN_UK.xls; the placeholder [xx] depends on the SAP Best Practices version you use, for example FB refers to the SAP Best Practices for Food and Beverage Package: Prerequisites_Matrix_FB_EN_UK.xls). This document can be found on the SAP Best Practices documentation DVD in the folder FB_UK\Documentation\.
