FAST TRACK SEMESTER 2014-15 (JUNE-JULY 2015)

Calendar & Guidelines

1. CALENDAR OF EVENTS:

ACTIVITY SCHEDULE Course Registration 04.06.2015 to 06.06.2015

Last date for Course Registration 06.06.2015

Commencement of Classes 08.06.2015

Dropping of Course 12.06.2015

Quiz#1 On or before Test#1

Test#1 22.06.2015 to 24.06.2015

Quiz#2 On or before Test#2

Test#2 06.07.2015 to 08.07.2015

Test#3 15.07.2015 to 17.07.2015

Last working day 20.07.2015

Semester End Examination 21.07.2015 to 30.07.2015

2. CREDITS:

A student can register for a maximum number of 16 Credits, not exceeding 40

contact hours per week. Note: Students awaiting results of make-up examination may also register and attend the classes without fail. In the event of such of those students

passing the courses, the fee paid will be refunded. No student is allowed to register after

the last date of registration.

3. FEES:

For a given course,

a) if more than five students register, fee will be Rs.1000/- per credit b) if five or less than five students register, fee will be Rs.2000/- per credit

Note: 50% concession in fee per credit, in case of SC/ST students

4. REGISTRATION:

The course registration process for all the semesters shall be facilitated by the

respective departments. The concerned HODs shall adhere the Calendar of Events

prescribed (at 1 above) and smooth conduct of Fast Track Semester.

5. CONDUCT AND MONITORING OF CLASSES:

The class time-table and monitoring of first year classes will be done by the Dean

(First year B.E.) and that of higher semesters by the respective HODs.
