Our Parish Community

Q: When are daily Masses being held? A: Daily Masses at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish will be held each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 a.m. Please note that there is NO daily Mass on either Thursdays or Saturdays.

Q: Where are daily Masses being held? A: All daily Masses will be held at St. Paul Church.

Q: What protocols are being put in place to ensure health and safety? A: To ensure the health and safety of all, we have implemented the following public health guidance:

Congregation size will be limited to approximately fifty (50) people.

Face masks are required of all members of the congregation.

To help maintain the recommended six-foot distance between congregants, please follow the directional arrows and walking patterns within the church.

We also request that anyone who is sick, or showing symptoms of illness, to please refrain from attending Mass.

Q: What is being done to determine who may attend Mass on any given day? A: There are two ways by which you may sign up to

attend daily Mass:

1. Sign-Up Genius: Online reservations may be made here: https://bit.ly/3eBqFOk

2. Phone: call the par ish office at 860-633-9419 Due to current limitations on parish office hours, Mass reservations cannot be made Fridays after 4 p.m., Saturdays or Sundays.

Anyone unable to use Sign-up Genius for any reason is encouraged to call the parish office at 860-633-9419.

Q: May I sign up for four Masses at once?

A: No. At this time, we are asking people to limit their attendance to just twice per week. This gives more people an opportunity to attend daily Mass.

Q: What happens when I arrive at St. Paul Church for daily Mass? A: Upon your arrival, please enter using the front door (Main Street entrance) only, then:

Please check in with the representative at the door, who will confirm your reservation.

An usher will seat you at the next available open seat within the church.

Q: Will Holy Communion be made available? A: Yes, Holy Communion will be given at the end of Mass. Communicants are asked to:

Receive the consecrated host in your hand

Step to the side

Lower your mask

Consume the host

Replace your mask

Exit the church via the side doors following the directional arrows and walking patterns within the church. UPDATED/APPROVED: JUNE 1, 2020

Children's Edition of Connecting with

Spiritual Purpose Now Available!

I know this one! I found it on Wikipedia:

On June 12, 1987 President Ronald Regan

delivered the famous Berlin Wall Speech, at

Brandenburg Gate in West Berlin, challenging

Mikhail Gorbachev to “tear down this wall",

which had divided the capital since 1961.

A Note of Gratitude

May 18 and May 26 brought blessings to the residents of Knox Lane/Village Green in the form of canned and dry goods, juice boxes, personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies. Each day, Joyce graciously delivered and six tables were filled to capacity with donated items from SS. Isidore and Maria parishioners. More than one resident was overheard saying “Oh, Oreos!”

Your support has provided relief to many elderly Glaston-bury neighbors. Thank-you for your generous donations. Stephanie D’Amora and Lisa A. Dunnack Town of Glastonbury Housing Authority

Inspiration for the Week Today we celebrate the Divine dance, a perfectly choreographed interplay of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Together they dance and move as one though three unique Persons with distinctive, yet harmonious, patterns and steps. They provide a mirror into our soul. Within each one of us, the Divine dance continues, and the music of God’s love continues to inspire, sustain, and recreate us with every step and melody. Can you hear the music that the Triune God is playing? Where is the dance leading you? Our minds can never truly understand or know God. But our hearts can seek and find Him. From beginning to end, God is one and, at the same time, Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. God’s holy Trinitarian dance is calling you to holiness. Join in and dance! ~ Rev. Mark Suslenko

Online Prayer Intentions, Memorial Candles

Prayers for the SS. Isidore and Maria prayer basket as well as candle lighting requests are now available. Simply complete the form on the home page of our website (www.isidoreandmaria.org) so that we may remember your loved ones in our prayers!

A well choreographed dance can be truly inspirational. Each movement and step are interconnected, each contributing a piece of the unfolding artistic story. The beholder is caught up in the rhythms, music, and gestures, realizing that none are dispensable and all are necessary. The same is true of the Divine Dance of the Trinity. Each Person plays a part, using unique

gestures and movements that are connected to the other Divine Partners. They tell a story of love. Every move-ment and step is born of love and flows on into eternity. The Divine Dance never ends. God the Creator powerfully, yet with gentle love, leads. Creating and recreating, birthing and sustaining, He dances with the compassionate incarnate Son, guided by the breath of the Holy Spirit. They are three distinct Persons but move as One. On one hand, the cascading flow of their Presence appears motionless, yet on the other, flows and moves with effortless attention. They share one heart, one goal, and one purpose and invite all of creation to join in their dance, their joy.

The energy of the Trinity flows through all created things. It is a dance of the heart, not of the mind. It has to be experienced, not dissected, and contemplated, not under-stood. We stand in awe of the Divine Dance and find ourselves watching in amazement all that God creates and sustains. The dance continues in the majesty of a moun-tain, the power and wonder of an ocean, and the vastness of the universe. It moves in the cry of a newborn infant and in the soul of one who has been forgiven. It flows in the cry for justice and in the wounds of the oppressed. It circles through the changing of seasons, the cycles of birth and death, and the wisdom that one acquires when they love God. The Dance never ends. Its movements and rhythms go on forever. The Trinitarian Dance sustains all things, endures all things, and brings hope. You are invited to dance. Don’t just watch as if you were simply a spectator. Join in the dance and move as they move.

Even if you can't attend church for any reason, your donation can be made safely and securely.

All contributions are recorded for you on your bank statement with date of donation. IT COSTS YOU NOTHING!
