Facts• A known commodity: The Barrett M107 is combat proven and User

respected—the XM109 possesses much of the same architecture as the M107

• Ammunition Availability: The 25mm XM109 will use the self-same 25mm armor-piercing ammunition as the Objective Crew-Served Weapon (XM307)

Claims• The 25mm XM109 offers significantly greater lethality than the .50

caliber XM107 against C4I SAR targets– Near term: Penetration potential from optimizing warhead

promises over 1 ½ -inches of RHA at 1200 meters and beyond– Long Term: Optimized AP ammunition offers 2 + inches of HHA
