Materials

8 ½ x 9 ½: card stock2 ½ x 5 ½” designer paper

ScorerScissors

Double Stick TapeRibbon (Optional)

Score the 9 ½” side of the 8 ½ x 9 ½” card stock at 1 ½”, 4”, 5 ½” and 8”

Turn the 8 ½ x 9 ½” card stock to the 8 ½” side and score at 1 ½” on left and right sides of the card stock

Cut off left and right side of the 8 ½ x 9 ½” card stock to the 4” vertical score line and 1 ½” horizontal score line

After cutting off the card stock as instructed, the card stock should appear as shown in the picture

Cut a flap by cutting from the 4” score line to the 5 ½” score line as shown in the picture. Do not cut off the flap.

When you’ve cut the flaps, your card stock should appear as shown in the picture

Snip off the corners of one of the 1 ½” panel as shown in the picture.

Apply double stick tape to the 1 ½” flaps as shown in the photo

Assemble box as shown in the picture.

Apply the 2 ½ x 5 ½” designer paper to the top of the box

Tie a ribbon around the box and decorate as desired.
