By the way, all the answers are within you; how can you bring them out?

Sit in a comfortable sitting position: “lotus”, “cross-legged”, with legs straight in front of you; make sure that your spine is erect. Close your eyes; breathe through your nose slowly inhaling and exhaling. Keep your mind focused on the point between your eyebrows – Ajna chakra and repeat OM or your own mantra (prayer). The Ajna chakra is the chakra of the mind; OM is representing the seat of the Mind.

Stay focused, let all of your thoughts go away; immerse yourself in an oasis of light, love and peace. Don’t let your mind wonder, bring it back by repeating OM… You can mediate for 20 minutes or even for 5; remember to train your mind to be present. Open your eyes; return breathing to normal, always breath through your nose.

When you return, your mind will be clearer than before, relaxed, and ready for any challenge.

Here IS the time to ask that question - the answer will be there waiting for you. Trust your mind, after all you must trust your mind before you trust any one!

Here are the Rules to follow:

Food Approach – “Food is my medicine”.

I can collaborate for hours about healthy eats; the bottom line we all know that what ever you put in your mouth will end up in your stomach, simple.

Love your self, love your body, that’s all you have, that’s what God gave you, maintain and cherish it.

Exercise every day is a must.

I practice Yoga, it is a music to my soul, it heals my mind, uplifts my spirit, energizes my body. Give your self a gift - try at least three yoga classes with three different teachers. You will feel the benefits of Yoga immediately. Remember: Listen to your own body!!!!

If you do different sports or go the gym, make sure you stretch your muscles after each training, and slow your breath by returning it to normal. There is a direct relationship between your mind and your breath:

“Slow breath - calm mind”.

Feed your mind with Positive food.

Just like your stomach needs food to produce energy for your body your mind needs uplifting positive information. It can be anything that makes you want to fly, anything that creates those butterflies in your mind! You know the feeling I am talking about. So, what does that to YOU?Dig inside you. Go to Church? Temple? Read a spiritual book.Help some one. Donate your time, your knowledge; share your experience. Anything you could think of.

Positive Thinking.

It is a mandatory trial to stay positive at all times during our transformation. Don’t let negative thoughts eat you up alive. Stay present, smell the roses! Don’t dwell on your past, don’t worry about the future, all we have is present moment; don’t let it pass by you.But if that negative bag got in to you, do not react – observe, close your eyes, focus your mind on the point between your eyebrows, breath slowly and continuously, clear your mind, your thoughts…Do not let the mind take control over you, learn how to control and properly use it instead.

 Lets begin.

 Day #1.Wake up feeling happy, with gratitude to be alive, thanking God for being in your life by making you special and unique.Have a glass of detoxing cocktail to brighten up your morning.In a glass of warm water melt a teaspoon of coconut oil, cinnamon (on the tip of a knife), squeeze half of fresh lemon juice, honey to taste. Drink it as soon as you wake up. It starts up your stomach, cleanses your digesting system, and a great source of Vitamin C.

Next. Give your body a pleasure of using it for your favorite type of workout. Yoga is my pleasure. Have a great workout or a magnificent practice.  Breakfast or early lunch - first meal of the day.

Remember the meaning of a word breakfast? “Break the fast”.Our digesting system of breaking food could be fast or slow. Don’t eat just to eat. Listen to your body, only you know when it is time to eat – when you really feel hungry, not thirsty. Many times we confuse hunger with thirst.

So lets break the fast. Your body was digesting the food from yesterday, when the food is 100% processed and the energy produced by it used, then you will receive a signal - hungry!

We need food to produce energy for our body. Since we are detoxing - our food is vegetarian.If you love to cook you do not need to buy any " diet food plan" and be depended on them.Come with me on to this cooking journey, let’s experience this together.

My first meal today is:

Sautéed Broccoli Rabe in Olive oil, with crashed Garlic and Sundried tomatoes in red wine reduction, served with Tofu with Black bean.Herbal/ Mint tea with hemp seed toasted bread and raw honey.Broccoli Rabe is a good source of Vitamin A, C, B6, E, Iron, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Fiber and low on calories.Tofu with black bean (or nay tofu) provides Protein and Calcium.Tea: if you drink tea make sure it is a leafy tea; use fresh mint as well.

Raw honey gives the most benefits you can get form a honey. Do not put honey in to a hot cup of tea; hot water will kill raw honey nutrition and will turn it in to sugar.

Hemp seed bread. Hemp seed is a great source of digestible protein, contains amino acids, which are essential for vegetarian diet, also high on calcium, iron, magnesium and just simply delicious. (You can find hemp seed bread in frozen department of Fresh Market, Whole foods even Publix carries it).

Take this quote with you for the day: “ The more the energy you spend in elevating and

serving others, the more the divine energy which will flow to you.” - Swami Sivananda.

You should not worry about food till about 6:00 p.m.  During the day drink plenty of room temperature water. Anything that is not water considered being food.

Stay focused. Every time food thought crosses your mind between noon and 6:00 p.m. is a dangerous trigger that tries to hold you back from becoming new YOU. Identify your strength and work on improving your weaknesses.

If you had an early first meal, here is a delicious smoothie for your mid-day snack.

My new favorite – home made almond milk smoothie.Almond milk recipe you can find on-line. It is very easy.Soak raw almonds in water over night (about 2 inches of water above almonds). Next day drain the water from the almonds.Put almonds in a blender add water (1: 2 proportions). Less water - creamier the milk. Blend the mixture until you see milky foam. Strain the blended almond mixture in a strainer. Your milk is ready. You might like to add honey, or dates, or vanilla while blending, it is all up to your taste.

Smoothie.Play with your tasty imagination: blueberries (great source of antioxidants plus vitamins), strawberries,

banana, almond milk, any frozen berries, if you want add raw protein powder, add chlorella supplement (research

the benefits of it).Enjoy!

Dinner. Remember we are in a New You 28 day trial. With that in mind try to eat no later than 7:00 p.m. Dinner menu:1. Black pearl lentil soup.2. Warm shitake mushroom salad.3. Glass of red wine.

Black pearl lentils

Black pearl lentils (black lentil) – proteins, iron, calcium, high on fiber.

Add lentils to a pot with boiling water. Boil till lentils are half way cooked. Add chopped tomatoes.

In olive oil sautéed crashed garlic, leeks, carrots for 5 minutes. Add this mixture to the soup, the same time add chopped purple potatoes. Continue cooking on low heat until done; add little bit of salt and pepper.

Serve with finely chopped fresh cilantro.

Warm shitake mushroom salad.

Slice shitake in large pieces, sautéed in olive oil with Italian parsley. Add red wine, salt, let the alcohol evaporate, stir gently for 2-3 min. Cook for about 7-10 minutes in total, add fresh or frozen green peas, after 3 minutes put mushrooms in to a bowl with arugula and frisee salad. Toss gently mixing all ingredients. If you need some dressing mix olive oil, Dijon mustard, red wine. Make sure your salad does not swim in the dressing.

Enjoy your dinner with a glass of red wine.A glass not a bottle! Believe it or not red wine is high on antioxidants, moderate intake improves cardiovascular health.
