Purpose1. The name of this choir is MAGNIFICAT CHAMBER SINGERS.
2. The !rose of these "#$a%s is to he$ the choir s!cceed in its mission to sin& 'od(sraises and to $ead the arish(s mem"ers in sin&in& at )ass.
*. These "#-$a%s are !"$ic information and are avai$a"$e to an#one in the arish %homa# %ish to have access to them.
+. This choir consists of mem"ers, section $eaders, $i"rarians, "!siness mana&er andm!sic director, %hose ro$es and resonsi"i$ities are descri"ed in these "#-$a%s.
Music Director1. The m!sic director is the $eader of the choir and maes the decisions re&ardin& the
m!sic erformed "# the choir.2. eendin& on the sie of the choir if the choir has more than 2+ mem"ers, the
m!sic director ma# "e assisted "# an associate m!sic director, aointed "# them!sic director.

serve the Lord in the m!sic ministr# of SAN L!REN"! R#I" <arish.2. Before a candidate =oins the choir, he or she a!ditions %ith the m!sic director, %ho
decides %hether to admit the candidate to the choir and %ho assi&ns the s!ccessf!$candidate to a section of the choir.
*. 7f a mem"er needs to tae time o> the choir, he or she noti8es the section $eader, ifossi"$e, t%o %ees "efore tain& o>.
+. 7f a mem"er needs to resi&n from the choir, for %hatever reason, he or she noti8esthe section $eader, if ossi"$e, t%o %ees "efore $eavin&.. 7t is a &ood idea for the choir to &o on a icnic or other team-"!i$din& activit# once
ever# si months.6. ?nce a #ear, it is a &ood idea for the choir to have a sirit!a$ retreat, for at $east one
da#, %ith a )ass and homi$# and sirit!a$ ta$s and disc!ssions, and the oort!nit#to receive the Sacrament of <enance.
5. 7t is not a &ood idea for mem"ers of the choir to date each other or enter into are$ationshi.
