• EXAM IS OPEN BOOK

• You should take all the text books provided by IATA with you in the exam hall.•That makes the exam very tricky.

EXAMINATIONEXAM IS CONDUCTED IN THE MONTH OF MARCH & SEPTEMBER

EACH YEAR. ( Usually the first/second Sunday of Mar/Sep)

q PAPER 1 – AIR FARES AND TICKETING & EBT/GDS

(Morning 9.30 am – 12.30 pm)

q PAPER 2 – GENERAL KNOWLEDGE IN TRAVEL

AND TOURISM INDUSTRY

(Afternoon 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm )

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS• Students have 2 free attempts to pass each

paper within the 24 month period.

• Third Paid Attempt approx USD 150

• A third failure in either paper will cause the enrollment to be cancelled.

• PASS MARK - 70% in each paper

• AWARD WITH DISTINCTION Awarded to students who obtain 85% or more in each paper at their first exam attempt.
