Expiration Dates: • There are several items within the Beauty POG

that expire such as the Burt’s Bees Lip balm and the makeup.

• Be sure the staff is rotating this product as it comes in to always have the product that is first to expire to the front of the peg.

• Any item with an expiration date that will expire within 30 days becomes eligible for the ‘Quick Sale’ before expiring.

• Pull the items that will expire within 30 days off of the display and place in a basket at the register with a ‘Soon to Expire’ sign posted.

• Start the clearance at 50% off for 3 weeks and for the 4th and final week move to 75% off. Never sell expired products.

• Once the product has expired it must be MOS on the register as ‘Expired Sundries/Drugs’

The Beauty POG is packed full of great personal care and accessories. If room allows, most stores should carry this full POG. New updates to the POG include:

The Wiggle brush is now the Dazzle brush from Kelli’s. Keep the Wiggle brush on the peg to sell through before ordering the new brush.

The 2 body wraps have moved from the Skin-care POG into the Beauty POG to make room for the 4 Warmies animals shown below.

Slim Sonic toothbrushes are now available through Kelli’s in a fun new tube packaging. Leave the existing square packaged brushes on the peg to sell through before ordering the new toothbrushes from Kelli’s.

OPI Polish is a key category. The best sellers of Nail Polish are included in

the top 20 styles of the display. The bottom row has the best sellers of the top

10 styles of Infinite Shine polish. Review the Infinite Shine Product Information

sheet to fully understand how to apply. The Primer and Gloss are key to make this

gel-effect polish work which can be bought individually or in the Duo Pack for savings.

2’ Beauty Plan-o-gram Guidelines

Use 3 glass shelf brackets underneath the glass shelf for proper support of the OPI display.

Top Glass Shelf features the Burt’s Bees line of naturally made products.

• Display the Lip Shines in the new 4 style display following the layout on the header strip

• Display the Lip Shimmers on the new 7 style display follow-ing the layout on header strip

• Use a large riser to place the Pomegranate Lip Balm on over the Beeswax Lip Balm.

• Each item should be priced individually and not on the displayer.

The Second Glass Shelf features the OPI nail polish line.

• The top 2 rows of the OPI display has the 20 best sellers of nail polish. The Base Coat and Top Coat are positioned within the display.

• The bottom row of the OPI display has 10 styles of the Infinite Shine Lacquer colors.

• This same row also displays the Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss which are essential for the Infinite Shine polish to work properly. Refer to the Infinite Shine Product Infor-mation sheet for more details on this great line.

• Customers can purchase the Duo pack of the Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss at a savings.

• Use a small upside down riser to place the LA Polish Remov-er in. Place the upside down riser on top of another small riser in display.

• Place the Makeup Glasses on a 4” peg. Remove the first Makeup Glass from the plastic package for customers to see how this neat product works for close up makeup applications.

The third glass shelf from the top features the makeup line.

• Place the Fantasy Nail Files in a glass cube.

• Peg the Spring and Nude Eyeshadow on the same peg.

• Peg the Powder Blush next to the Eyeshadow.

• Place the Mineral Powder/Concealer underneath the pegged Eyeshadow and Blush. Remove the header card.

• Place the Max Effect Mascara in 2 glass jars.

The fourth glass shelf from the top features helpful items

• Peg the Ouchless Ponytail Holders.

• Peg the Dazzle Hairbrush and alternate the colors going back on the peg.

• Place the Readers displayer on the shelf. Remove the cap from the first Reader for customers to see the product.

• Mirrors can be placed in an upside down riser with the first Mirror placed out.

The fifth glass shelf features personal care products.

• Display the body wraps in 2 rows with turquoise in the left row and purple on the right.

• Place the Illuminating Tweezers on the glass shelf in between the Body Wraps and the Slim Sonic Toothbrushes. Remove one of the Tweezers from the tube for customers to see.

• Peg the Slim Sonic Tooth-brushes alternating designs.

• Each item should be priced individually, not the displayer.

Bottom row of pegged items focuses on relaxation.

• Peg the Neck Pillow and alter-nate the colors of the Pillow going back on the peg.

• Peg the Sleep Mask to the right of the pillow.

• Peg the Fleece Blanket direct-ly below the Sleep Mask. Use the strap handle to peg the blanket long ways as shown in the picture left.

• Peg the Bear Claw Back Scratchers to the right of the Sleep Mask. Make sure to alternate the colors of the Back Scratchers going back on the peg.

• All items should be priced next to the UPC.

• The Pillow and Blanket should not touch the floor. Keep in mind each store’s slatwall is installed differently and therefore each stores ‘slat 1’ for each POG will vary. The key is that the product does not touch the floor leaving a few inches or room for someone’s shoe to slide under the product without touching the product.
