INTRODUCTION

Let me pose a question to you. How many of you

have ever parked illegally around Deree College? I

am sure that you will be remembering that I have

distributed a questionnaire to you the previous days

about illegal parking around our college, Deree

College (show them the questionnaire). I have made a

survey with seventy questionnaires and I have seen

that we can eliminate the problem of illegally parking

around Deree College that causes a lot of problems

for the students and the inhabitants of the

Municipality of Agias Paraskevi by building an

underground garage or by coming earlier or using the

means of transportation.

MAIN BODY

NEED

I am sure that all of you know that there is a

serious problem at the Gravias Street. At the one side

of the road the parking is forbidden, because of the

narrowness of the road. The same applies at the

Agiou Ioannou Street. But the students for reasons

that I am going to explain later on they violate the

rules and as a result we have all this panic around our

College. According to the survey I have made, 19% of

the students that come by car have answered that

they very often 21% answered that they often, 11%

answered that they rarely and again 11% answered

that they rarely have parked illegally around the

Deree College. That means that 62% of the students

have parked illegally at least once around the Deree

College. The rest 38% have done the opposite. The

reasons were three. 94% said that there is no parking

space available, 4% said that the students do not use

the means of transportation and finally 12% said that

they do not have enough time to search for a legally

parking space.

SATISFACTION

The solutions that we can provide to this

problem are quite interesting. The students can

eliminate the problem if they come earlier for their

courses (as I do) and they can spend more time

looking for a legal parking space. They can also use

the means of transportation (like the bus) or the

Deree College the same can make an underground

garage enough big so that it can fit all the cars of the

students.

VISUALIZATION

The Public University of Athens though from the

beginning the above mentioned problems that’s why

it made the Panepistimioupoli and the

Politechnioupoli outside the Athens at the area of

Papagou will a lot of different parking spaces for

different buildings. So its School or departure has its

own parking space for students and for the faculty.

The same did the university of . Personally I have

never parked illegally around the D.C. Why? Because

ladies and gentlemen I come ten minutes earlier and I

find a legally parking space. That shows that there

are enough legally parking spaces that you can take

advantage of.
