(2Th 1:1-7) Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that
your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous
judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to
recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven
with his mighty angels,
(Act 20:4) And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the
Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of
Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
(2Th 1:1-2) Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the
Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and
the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Neh 4:6-8) So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. But it came to pass, that when
Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls
of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
(2Th 1:1-2) Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the
Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and
the Lord Jesus Christ.
(1Co 12:4-8) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations,
but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every
man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by
the same Spirit;
(1Co 12:11) But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally
as he will.
(1Co 12:12) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
(2Th 1:3-4) We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your
faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other
aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in
all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
(Php 2:12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
(Jas 2:17-18) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a
man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy
works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
(Joh 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(2Th 1:3-4) We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your
faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other
aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in
the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations
that ye endure:
(Heb 12:1-2) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run
with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set
down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Suffering of adversity
(2Th 1:5-7) Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be
counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with
God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed
from heaven with his mighty angels,
(2Th 1:5-7) Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for
which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed
from heaven with his mighty angels,
(Act 14:21-22) And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and
Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we
must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
(1Th 3:4) For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer
tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
(2Pe 1:5) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
(2Pe 1:6) And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
(2Pe 1:7) And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
(1Pe 5:8-10) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom
resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that
are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ
Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
