Why does Jesus tell this story to make His point about being good managers? Don’t you think He could of told a more “politically correct” story? Why such an edgy and controversial story?

(v.9) Are you managing your wealth in such a way in order to gain friends and impact the Kingdom of God? What does this look like to live this way without one using wealth as a manipulator?

(v.10-12) This story seems to be all about money until this section. Jesus makes a statement that worldly wealth is just a training piece for us as managers. What do you think Jesus is referring to when He speaks of “true riches”? What is the significance of how we handle our worldly wealth?

(v.13) In what ways does our culture struggle with this two masters idea? What keeps a follower of Christ from falling into this trap?

From the lessons on generosity so far how would you define generosity? Also, what are some of the big benefits of living a generous life?

Bill Gates is generous. Warren Buffet is generous. What makes the generosity of a follower of Jesus Christ different from the generosity of the rest of the world?
