Muhammad bin' Umer al-waqdi is a renowned figure in Islamic History.His field of research are Seerat Nabvi, Hadith, Literature, Maghaziand History. He spent all his time and money in acquiring knowledgefrom Hazrat Muhammad Bin Rashid, Imam Malik Bin Anus and SufyanThaury. Akhbar-e-Makkah, Tareekh-ul-Fuqaha, Al Tareekh Al Kabeer,Kitab Harbul Aus Wal Khzreg, Tafseer-ul-Quran, Zikrul Quran,Futoohusham, Futooh ul Iraq, Al Tarkhwal Makhazee, Kitab Al Seerah,Kitab Muktal Hassan Bin Ali (R.A) etc. are his famous books. The lifeevents of seerah and Hadith (saying of Prophet PBUH) was hisfavourite occupation. Desite his ensmons schoolary works majority ofMuhadeseen criticised him and unanimously rejected his authenticity and render him untrust worthy of narrating Hadith. How ever it isunjust and against the established principle of research to cast asidethe effort of Umer Bin Al-Waqdi without giving due consideration.
