Dear Friends, The Local Organising Committee (LOC), South African Sports Association for the Intellectually Impaired (SASA-II), International Athletic Association for Persons with Down Syndrome (IAADS), International Table Tennis Association for people with Down Syndrome (ITTADS) and all stakeholders take this opportunity to invite you to the “3rd IAADS World Athletics Championships and 1st ITTADS World Table Tennis Championships” to be held in South Africa. Bloemfontein, 21 – 27 November 2015.
The LOC and all the partners will do their level best to organise a professional Championships and make you feel welcome in the South of Africa. English is the official language of IAADS and ITTADS events. All material and information will be available in English. The organisers will try to provide a volunteer that can translate, to teams.

12. WEATHER It will be warm in Bloemfontein during November. The temperature can go up to 30 degrees. Sunblock will be advisable. It is also the raining season in that part of the country during November. 5
13. AIRLINES AND TRANSPORT
The first entrance to South Africa will be Johannesburg, O R Tambo Airport. Flights from O R Tambo Airport to Bloemfontein are very limited and early booking will be advisable. Bus transport from OR Tambo Airport to Bloemfontein will be arranged for teams that are interested to use road transport, for R500 per person. But please take note that the bus will maybe wait for some time to transport more countries at a time. The travel time will be around 5 hours.
14. VISA REQUIREMENT
Visas to South Africa might be required for some countries.
15. INSURANCE
The Organising Committee ensures they will have satisfactory arrangements in respect of public liability and professional indemnity. Participating member organisations are responsible for their own insurance requirement for travel, personal accident, liability and medical matters.
16. ACCOMMODATION
The Organising Committee will provide Accommodation, three Meals per day, Local Transport, Ceremonies, entry to Functions and the Social Program as part of the package. Accommodation will be 5km out of town at a Game Lodge with a Restaurant and Pub. Double and twin rooms are available. Limited Chalets / Log Cabin with one and two rooms are available, with all meals included. Please take note: Single rooms will only be given if the team numbers are uneven. Accommodation allocation will be done at “first come first serve” entry and payment.

A visit to Wild Cats and Wild Animal Farms around Bloemfontein
18. MEDICAL SUPPORT:
Ambulances with medical staff will be available at competition venues. Physiotherapists will be available at competition venues Medical Support will be available at accommodation venue. Medical Doctors will be on standby 24 yours.

20. SPORTS RULES AND REGULATIONS
IAAF Rules with IAADS adapted regulations (See Document on Website www.SU-DS.org). ITTF Rules with ITTADS adapted regulations (See Document on Website www.SU-DS.org)
21. ELIGIBILITY / ACCREDITATION / MEDICAL PROVISION / DOPING
Eligibility of athletes: all participants should be registered with SU-DS and should appear
on the SU-DS registration list before the last entry date. If they are not yet Registered the Form can be downloaded from www.SU-DS.org. There is a £10 Registration Fee which can be paid on line through PayPal. Please make sure Registration is completed, all documentation is submitted and Registration Fee is paid before attending the event. Accreditation cards: will be issued to each athlete after she/he personably has proved
her/his eligibility registration number and passport to a SU-DS officer. Doping: doping will be done during this week
