AWARD Ballan & District Community House, winner of the Ballan District Chamber of Commerce Community Award chosen from 14 Not-For-Profit organisations in the category

BALLAN & DISTRICT COMMUNITY CENTRE The Committee of Management of the Ballan and District Community House is pleased to announce that it has been charged with the responsibility of managing the Mechanics Institute Reserve by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. In their letter of appointment “DELWP has formed the view that the BDCH is a well-established body with a diverse representation that is well placed to manage this multipurpose community facility”. The House’s relationships with other community organisations and its commitment to shared community values and aspirations will ensure the strengthening and expansion of the services offered by this important community venue.
