1 If you want to fold your socks, place one beneath another, with the top oneabout two inches (5cm) below the bottom one. It is more efficient to fold all ofyour socks together, so align the rest of them in the same way, with each about twoinches (5cm) shifted down from the one below it.

Roll from the first sock on the bottom, with the first roll coming right to thetop of the second sock.

After you roll your clothes, be sure to place them in the suitcase withthe opening in the roll against the bottom; otherwise, they will comeunrolled and get wrinkled. Placing them against each other puts slightpressure on the bundle and has the same effect.Try using a simple rubber band to hold the rolls in place. Just makesure the rubber band is not too tight or it may wrinkle the fabric.Lay dress pants on a flat surface so that creases meet. With evenpressure (not too tight, not too loose) roll pants starting from waist tohem. This will prevent creases from appearing at the knees.

Be aware that rolling clothes can result in tearing of any delicate fabricsif the suitcase is over-packed.Rolling clothes conserves space, but don't stuff more articles into thesuitcase than can actually fit. If you do this, the rolls will get squishedand your clothes will likely get creased after all.

    Method 3 of 3: Socks
