• Conduct a full comprehensive board evaluation with interviews thereby ensuring an in-depth look into the current performance of the board.• Action plan workshop to assist you with developing an action plan based on the appraisal results.

• Basic evaluation via online questionnaires (only) which will be tailored (where possible) to evaluate the status of action areas identified in the previous year thereby ensuring the board is evaluating its progress on those areas that required attention.

• Action plan review workshop to work through action items and current status.• The purpose of this year is to evaluate the performance di�erences from Year 1 (if a basic appraisal is done) as well as assess the status/progress with regards to the action plan formulated in order to determine the way forward.

Principle 9 in the King IV Report™ recommends that a formal performance evaluation of the governing body (i.e. board), its committees, the chairman and individual members (i.e. directors) should be conducted at least every two years. During the alternate years the governing body should ensure that it informally considers, reflects and discusses its performance and that of its committees, chairman and individual members as a whole – taking into account the action plan created from the results of the previous formal appraisal and its status of implementation and possible improvement in performance.
