    1. This has reference to Ministry of Railways letter No.E(W)2003/WE-1/3 dated 23-4-2003 on the

    subject.

    3. Annual allotment for "Indigenous Systems of Medicine" under SBF (under which homoeopathic

and ayurvedic dispensaries function) at Rs.2.50 per capita being inadequate to meet increase in

requirement of funds on account of above revision in the honorarium, the additional expenditurenecessitated due to revision in the honorarium of the physicians under these orders would also be met

through re-appropriation from the head "Medical Services" as additional adhoc contribution to the

SBF, and the Medical Budget would be suitably augmented from Revenues as advised in Board's

letter dated 23-4-2003 referred to above. CPOs would advise CMDs about the additional funds

required on this account so that the same could be reflected in the budgetary estimates.

    4. These orders are effective from 01-11-2005.

    5. In case of the Zonal Railways, expenditure on this account is chargeable to Demand No.11 (Staff

Welfare & Amenities) Minor head "Medical Services" (Control and superindence at Headquarters
