Some information about tonight’s production...Ring OfFire is not Johnny Cash’s biography, it is musicalentertainment from the songs he wrote, the people he wroteabout, the feelings they felt and expressed, the tragedies theyfaced and the laughter they fought back with. There is noactor portraying Johnny Cash or pretty actress as June Carter, and though it is a story there is no plot. You will, however, find a character within the lyrics and melodies, a man whoexperienced American life that now has become a part offolklore of American history. Ring Of Fire is a concert with astory interwoven.
When you listen to the story that emerges from thesesongs, you may find yourself being drawn back to your ownroots, whatever those may be. We ask you to allow yourheart, mind and soul to be touched at the same time andtaken hauntingly back to a part of your life you may want to return to.
With Ring Of Fire, the Theatre has taken a step into new territory and we sincerelyhope you enjoy our walk down this country lane. A path which may be a thing of the past,a time when we cared about the land, a time when a small boy could take just his fishingpole and spend the whole day rambling and adventuring alone, unsupervised and unafraid, trusted and unfeared for.
We are confident as you experience “Ring Of Fire,” you will find your feet tapping tothe music, and a smile lighting your face. You may even join in singing one of the oldfavorites. We wish you an enjoyable evening.

LOBBY ART - Bill Smith Photography ContinuedBill grew up in suburbia Western New York. This self-taught photographer has beeninterested in photographu since junior high school, and has always been inclined towardthe landscape. He has spent a lot of time hiking in the outdoors. He has been and isalways in awe of all the beauty in nature - too much beauty not to photograph it.Photography provides a different avenue for creativity away from full time work as aresearch engineer.
Photography is a journey in seeing, perception and communication. This work is aboutnature: quiet and vibrant, diverse and changing, elemental and total. Photography is anabstraction of the natural world - a selected fragment of what stands before the camera. While Bill notes that these prints have been made for personal aesthetic satisfaction, hesays he hopes they spark the viewers toward self-discovery, to go out an examine theoriginal landscape with a fresh vision.
Bill exhibits his work at outdoor shows throughout the Northeast.
