We learn 6NS.1 , 6.NS.2,& 6.NS.3. 6.NS.1 covers dividing fractions. 6.NS.2 makes sure you can fluently divide

multi-digit numbers. 6.NS.3 covers

adding ,subtracting ,dividing ,& multiplying decimals fluently.

MATH 5.1 (LYNIS, LUIS)

The standards we have been working on are 5.OA.1.

This standard covers order of operations. When you solve order of operations we are

able to use P.E.M.D.A.S.

SCIENCE : CLASSIFICATION OF ORGANISMS We have grouped shells and shoes to get a

better understand classification better. Today we predict that we will do the “Change

the flower project”. We also did a vocab quiz to help us prepare

for the test.

SOCIAL STUDIES

In social Studies we have been learning about the Civil War or the War Between the States.

Also we have been able to learn some very interesting facts. For Example: All of the soldiers would see if any casualties had better shoes than they did.

READING LANGUAGE ARTS

This week we have been working on prefixes & suffixes. We also have worked on opinion writing and ethos, pathos, and logos. Additionally, we have worked on developing good paragraphs.
