T55 Impulse relays : A new approach to remote control devices
A DIN modular range of impulse switches PLUS FLEXIBILITY!
or + +
Auxiliary contacts ACT control block Contacts block Motor device
It is just one of the MODUL+ features... Make the device you need by yourself, just by clipping together various blocksto the left side of a motor device, with no need of screws or additional wiring.
T55 MOTOR DEVICES
Order receivers, switching parts and transmission gears at once and the same time, theyare the core devices. Available in 1-pole and 2-pole, 16A and 32A.
MCT CONTACTS BLOCKS
In only one movement, you add two main contacts to a T55 motor device and obtain a3-pole or 4-pole 16A or 32A device.
ACT CONTROL BLOCK
It gives the possibility to control an impulse relay by permanent order, or to control it bya time-switch, or to control several relays by a single switch.
CX AUXILIARY CONTACT
Whenever you need additional contacts, for a remote signal or to synchronize thefunctioning of another device, a CX auxiliary block is the solution.
You may even clip two blocks on the same device, if necessary !

ACT control block
ACT control block gives additional possibilities to control a T55 impulse relay.
Central command
This multi-voltages side-block auxiliary allows central control of an installation.
For example, in lighting control, in addition to the individual command by localpushbuttons, it is possible to centrally switch on or off, all or part of the installation bya single order.
Central and local command pushbuttons must have the same (identical) commandvoltage, and all of them may be wired to the same phase, or to neutral.
(If central and local pushbuttons must not be wired to the same conductor, or must havedifferent command voltages, use T71 impulse relays series.)
Permanent order
The ACT block also gives the opportunity to control a T55 impulse relay by a permanentorder, instead of an impulse.
This feature is especially attractive when an impulse relay has to be operated by a timeswitch, a twilight switch, a movement control switch, or any other changeover contactswitch (2-way switch, changeover relay, time relay, ...).
Note that push-buttons must be wired only to the ON-OFF terminals. (No local order)

T70 and T71 Impulse relays with built-in central control
T70 impulse relays integrate the central control feature and allow central control in 1-pole, 2-pole or 3-pole installationswithout need of any additional control block. They could be used when both following conditions are fulfilled :
- The same single voltage is used for central command and individual local pushbuttons in the entire installation,
- Central command pushbuttons and all local pushbuttons are wired to the same conductor (phase or neutral).
T71 impulse relays also integrate the built-in central control feature without the above limitations : the central commandvoltage could be different from the local control voltage, without the need to wire all the push-buttons to the same conductor.

C8x Low consumption silent contactors
For remote switching of circuits up to 32A (Ith 40A)
Especially designed for housing and buildings applications, these contactors are very silent in operation with a very low powerconsumption.
The range includes several series, which has same technical characteristics, but differ only on 2 optional elements: theAC/DC ratio of the control voltage and the possibility of manual control.
DC/AC ratio 1 (DC= AC) 0.5 (DC = ½ AC)
With front handle C83 contactors C86 contactors
With window indicator C81 contactors C80 contactors
 AC/DC ratio :
All C8x contactors have a dual-voltage coil: they accept both AC and DC command voltage. The only difference is theratio of the DC voltage compared to the AC voltage, which is either 1 (DC = AC) or 0.5 (DC = ½ AC).
A “DC=AC” coil ensures a full-silent operation, a very low pick-up power (identical to the power loss) and an increasedelectrical life of the devices.
 Manual control :
All devices are equipped on the front with an indicator of the state of the device. Depending on the type, this indicatoris either a small window or a front-handle.
A front-handle presents 3 major advantages:
- It allows a manual operation of the device without having to energize the coil. This feature is very useful for testingthe installation,
- The position of the contacts could be seen far from the device, even in case of poor light, which is frequent in panels.
- It shows the actual position of the contacts (open or closed), whereas a window indicates only if the coil is or is notenergized. This is very useful for NC contacts.

Time delay relays : The functions
Action on energy supply
RF function : Delay to closing
Time-count starts when the device is powered. At the end of the time-lag,the position of the output changes (the NO contact closes). It comes backto its initial position (the NC contact closes) when the device isdisconnected.
RT function : Timing
Time-count starts and position of the output changes as soon as the deviceis powered (the NO contact closes). At the end of the time-lag, or if thedevice is disconnected, the output comes back to its initial position (the NCcontact closes).
RS function : Symmetrical blinking
The device being powered, the position of the output changes repetitivelyfor equal periods of time, adjustable by the front knob. Disconnecting thedevice immediately stops the blinking and resets the cycle.
RA function : Asymmetrical blinking
The device being powered, the position of the output changes repetitivelyfor periods of time, T1 and T2, of different duration each. Disconnecting thedevice immediately stops the blinking and resets the cycle.
Action on permanent order
RO function : Delay at opening
The device being powered, the closing of the command contact changes theposition of the output (the NO contact closes). The time-count starts at the openingof the command contact. A the end of the time-lag, or if the device isdisconnected, the output comes back to its initial position (the NC contact closes).
RI function : Impulse gauging
The device being powered, the closing of the command contact starts the time-count and changes the position of the output (the NO contact closes). A the endof the time-lag, or if the device is disconnected, the output comes back to its initialposition (the NC contact closes) independently from the command contactposition.
Action on pulse order
MN function : Staircase switch
The device being powered, an impulse on the local pushbutton changes theposition of the output (the NO contact closes) and starts the time-count. At the endof the time-lag, or if the device is disconnected, the output comes back to its initialposition (the NO contact opens). At any time, a new impulse restarts the time-count, without delay.
TT function : Time -delay impulse relay
The device being powered, an impulse on the local pushbutton changes theposition of the output (the NO contact closes) and starts the time-count. The outputcomes back to its initial position (the NO contact opens) at the end of the time-lag,or if the pushbutton is pressed before the end of the time-count, or if the device isdisconnected.
