Rasem Badran is displaying the residual effect of his modernist

training in the West through a functionalist approach to form.

To create architecture undetected from its location, cultural heritage and

society (Badran, 1988).

Rasem Badrans Architecture style is traditional revivalism that is aware of the culture and the

Functional needs of the end-users without neglecting the contemporary technologies and methodologies.

His father’s artistic work.

The Arab and Islamic culture that he grew up in.
