JanuaryART CLUB OF CENTURY VILLAGE EAST Silver VisionsMembers of the club, all seniors, have a common interest in the fine arts. They are Artists and Lovers of Art. Many in the group were professionals in various disciplines and art teachers before their retirement, and those members who found artistic talents later in life. Works include Mixed Media, Watercolor, Oil and Acrylic, and Sculpture. The sculptures are modern, humorous, and abstract.

Exhibit will be on display January 3-January 28. Opening reception Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM.

FebruaryELLIOTT BLOCKPhotographer Elliott Block looks for an artistic, unique view in the images of birds, flowers, and architectural and engineering details. He finds an aspect of a structure, either animate or inanimate, that exhibits a distinctive characteristic, especially if it is an item that has been seen many times before in a more standard way.

PHILIP DeNINOPhilip is an artist who works in the style of Realism, using a variety of mediums including oils, watercolors, pastels, Chinese brush painting, and sculpture.

KEITH HAAGKeith Haags eco-art sculptures are an exhibition of transformation and the power of perception. Haag takes a common material, Styrofoam, and artistically transforms this waste material into beautiful sculptures that are true contemporary works of art. He uses a specialized machine to recycle and keep the Styrofoam out of landfills.

IRA MARGULIESA recent retiree from 35 years as a Palm Beach County teacher and principal, Ira now paints full time. This exhibit, Ambiguous Horizons, represents a joyous time in this second career. The paintings are balanced and cohesive compositions, containing juxtaposing elements: light/dark, warm/cool, hard edged lines, and expressive brushstrokes.

March19TH ANNUAL SPRING CELEBRATION OF HIGH SCHOOL ARTWomen in the Visual ArtsNow in its 19th year, this annual exhibition features a diverse collection of art work by talented Palm Beach County High School students. Since 1997 WITVA has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships, prizes, and cash awards.

ARTISTS WITH AUTISMArtists With Autism, Inc. is a not for profit 501c(3) organization created for the purpose of educating aspiring artists with autism about business skills and social skills through the arts. Members maintain their own micro-enterprise business and learn the basics of entrepreneurship by selling their art in group exhibits and participating at local events.The exhibition is part of the Especially for Kids Event-a series of programs throughout April designed for kids with special needs and their families.

Exhibit will be on display from April 1-April 27.Opening reception Saturday, April 11 from 1:00-4:00 PM

DELRAY ART LEAGUEIncorporated in 1965, 2015 marks the 50th anniversary for the DAL! The purpose of DAL shall include the advancement of the public interest in the visual arts, to nurture and promote art education through scholarships and donations of art supplies and art instruction, and for the development of excellence in the visual arts in Palm Beach County.

Exhibit will be on display April 30-May 26. Opening reception Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 PM

All artist receptions are free and open to the public, and include refreshments.
