How would you as a teacher trainer introduce the peer lesson observation?
First of all, I would observe all the teachers classes so according to the class observation result I
would know what teacher need to improve their teaching strategies. During the feedback process
we will establish some action plans and specify the points s/he needs to improve. From all the
teachers observed, I would classify the teachers who have an excellent command of the languages
(tutor or coach) and the ones who needs some specific training (apprentice).
According to the improvements needed there will be the peer lesson observations required.

How would you manage the feedback--‐discussion? Write down the most important rules.
After the class observation I would give the teacher a self-evaluation rubric and that same day we
can discuss about the class observation results and its self-evaluation. First, I would highlight the
strong points or strengthens of his/her class and then I would talk about the things s/he needs to
improve. Finally, we would set an action plan and a deadline to cover the plan. According to the
improvements needed the coach the monitoring process could be along the course or only for
some specific days or months.
What happens if the trainee fails? What advice would you give him/her?
I could give the trainee more training but it will not last more than 4 months.
I would ask him or her to take advantage of the training not to see it as a bad point.
What can the trainee do, if he does not accept the feedback of the trainer?
If the changes are based on the teacher attitude rather than in the teaching process I would fire
the teacher because s/he is not making any change and the institution and the coach is wasting
time with people who do not want to make the difference in the teaching area.
Is a second visit possible? With the same trainer?
A second visit with the same trainer is a must so he can notice if the teacher improves or not.
