1. Step 1 : Job task information you have collected during needsassessment.
2. Step 2 : Confirm audience participation in the program/their
general education & back ground.3. Step 3 : Collect data (native language, use of humor, and
graphics) that are most appropriate for the audience and theircultures
4. Step 4: Note any special physical, ergonomic (the study of thetask), or environmental audience requirements

Phone conferencing: Are the employees able to
phone in from their desks or a convenient location?
E-mail: are the employees able to use their email and
attach documents to mail message?
Chat room technology: allows users to carry on
textbased online conversation with one another
Other technologies: Newsgroup, list-server, enable a
group to chat in a chat room, posted on a server,
discussions around a common area of interest.
