The global warming is continuing and in it has been an established fact that the temperature had already risen 0.4 ° C in most of the places
As responsible citizen what we need to do and what we need to ask the society to do.
The policy makers will not be able to help until the citizens are willing to work towards global temperature rise.

Unseasonal rains and floods.

Year 2015 ,January, February and March set new high-temperature records, respectively; each month was warmer than any on the books since record keeping started 136 years ago. March also ended the hottest 12-month period on record, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported. Seven of the past 11 months have tied or set new record-high monthly temperatures.

Country –India: Situation: Based on current climate change
condition it is now considered that India is already a disaster prone area, with the statistics of 27 out of 35 states being disaster prone.
Based on the information in the year 2007-2008, there were 18 such events in one year recorded. The death tolls due to the above events account almost 1100 people death.
Year 2014 recorded flooding of the Kashmir and rivers changing its path due to change in weather pattern and damages to the Properties and life.

As per report published by Indian Government the Carbon foot print in India per head is around 1.2 Tons per annum. Out of this the energy sector contributes to the tune of 58.6% .The methane emission is 18,583 Giga Gram (1994 data) and mainly they are from 78% from Agriculture and 16% from energy sources.As on date the typical temperature rise notices is in the order of 0.4 Deg C in India. The rain fall has increased in certain parts of India and some places are colder also. The monsoon rain has not changed significantly but the rainfall in other seasons have changed where in there is reduction of 6 to 8% in central and North eastern part and increase of 12 % in some parts.The Government had identified nodel agencies for such purpose and monitoring is ongoing.

1) Reduce/Reuse/ recycle/ Recovery of wastes so that the methane gas emission is reduced.2) Take care of existing trees and plants/ Plat more trees and soil conserving plants.3) Reduce carbon energy consumption4) Use renewable energy to reduce the Thermal energy5) Conserve water and effective utilisation and recycle.6) At community level avoid open fire and protection to reduce carbon Emission7) Reduce the usage of cars and vehicle and use of public transports.8) Minimise the chemicals and other discharges to the Sea which will impact marine system.
