Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 (2004 – Current)

A very few packages offer a relaxed touring experience as close to the Kawasaki Vulcan 2000. One of the best Japanese cruisers, it comes with a 2053cc 8v V-twin engine that produces 103 bhp and 120 mph max speed. What’s fascinating about the bike is the pounds of chrome, rich black paint, and two-liter SOHC motor that thuds power pulses.

Honda F6C Valkyrie (1996-2005)

Touted as the best of American cruisers, the Honda F6C Valkyrie is a pure lean version of the Honda GL1500 Gold Wing. It still weighs a good 309 kg and boasts great balance on the road. Although the F6C Valkyrie isn’t the fastest on the road – when compared with the likes of the Triumph Rocket III and Yamaha VMax, it’s one of the most stylish cruisers ever made. Powered by a 1520cc engine offering 87 ft-lb of torque, the Valkyrie is a real beast on the road.

Harley-Davidson Softail Cross Bones(2008-2012)

The Harley Crossbones is one of the most comfortable cruisers out there. Mount its wide-padded seat and experience the best rides of your life. Equipped with a gargantuan 1584cc V-twin engine, the Crossbones is unbelievably smooth for a Harley. It’s heavier than the Honda CBR600RRs – a great choice if you need a monstrous bike – with a 75 bhp and 43 mpg.

Triumph Rocket III (2005-current)

The Triumph Rocket III is a three-cylinder bike introduced in 2004. It offers some of the most mind-blowing specs – a 2.3-liter bad-ass engine, 150 ft lb of torque, and pistons as large as those on the Dodge Viper supercar. It’s smooth on plain surfaces, but may send a few jars down your spine on potholes, owing to its heavy weight that’s more than the Honda V6 Valkyrie and most Harley’s. It’s still faster, better braked, and offers better handling than many of its peers – not to forget the 25-liter tank that can carry you places before refueling.
