What is a polygon? • Look at this set of shapes. The shapes at the top are called "polygons." The shapes at the bottom are not.

• Talk to your partner about how the shapes at the top are different from the shapes at the bottom.

Guess My Rule Today you will play Guess My Rule with the Power Polygons.

One person will think of a rule and select two polygons that fit the rule to place on a sheet of paper and one polygon that does not fit the rule to set off the piece of paper.

The other players must determine which pieces fit the rule and which do not fit the rule by looking at the two polygons player one put out. When a player thinks they know the rule, they can say the rule.
