Fresh Produce Requested for the Concession Stand
Rebecca has also asked that families donate fresh grown produce. If there are any members who have gardens as a project and have extra lettuce, tomatoes, watermelon, fruits, etc. they can bring them for their shift to furnish menu items or toppings. That would be another way to showcase what all our 4-Hers can do!
Photo Mats Available! Photography members! We have plenty of photo mats ready to be purchased at the Extension
Office. Please make sure to come in and get all that you will need in order to complete your photo
entries for the Finney County Fair. They will be $1.20/mat or 5 for $6.00.

The Kourageous Kids club meeting took place on May 7, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at the Grandstand Meeting Room. 16 out of 16 members attended along with 3 leaders and no guests. Our pledges were led by Alex Scott and roll call was taken by Zephaniah Prince. Our current balance is $1,543.65. We discussed the Beef Empire Days parade which will be on June 10, 2017. A spring livestock show will take place on May 30 - June 2nd in Manhattan, Kansas. Our parliamentarian shared with us 3 ways to make a motion; 1. Add something that hasn’t been in the meeting. 2. Eliminate something old or unnecessary. 3. Change something in the meeting. For recreation we played Simon Says. Our next meeting will take place on June 11, 2017 at the 4-H building. Hope to see you there!!!
Remember to send your monthly club reports to [email protected]. They will be featured in the next newsletter.
