    Task 1. Enter Sketcher, then edit the sketch setup and select a reference.

    1. Start the Sketch Tool .

    Select datum plane right from the model tree.

    Notice the selected sketch and reference planes.

    2. Click Sketch.

    Notice the default sketch orientation.

    3. Click Sketch Setup from the Sketcher toolbar.

    Right-click and select Placement.

    Press CTRL + D to view the standard orientation.

    Change the sketching plane by selecting datum plane FRONT from the model tree.

    Click Sketch. The orientation is still horizontal.

    Sketch Setup was added to the Sketcher toolbar for training purposes. You can also access the Sketch Setup dialog box by clicking Sketch > Sketch

    In the Sketch dialog box, select Topas the Orientation.

    Notice that the sketch view reorients vertically.
