PRD expanded their export division, namely, “Paranthaman Exporters “and have

exported over 350 rigs to various countries worldwide and have been awarded with

Regional Export Awards , from the Government of INDIA, for the outstanding export

performance consecutively from the year 2005 to 2012.

Since the demand for our rigs in the African continent has grown considerably and

spread in 30 countries there, we have established our own branches in Kenya, South

MastSturdy structural mast of electrically welded construction, main members made out of heavy duty steel material reinforced with suitable cross members, a special guide tube is provided to guide the hydraulic cylinder and movement of rotary head. The mast length is 7 Mtr and it is raised & lowered by four hydraulic cylinders (100 x 63 x 800 = 4 Nos.)

Rotary HeadThe drill rotation is provided through the top drive rotation head having variable speed (0 to 50 rpm). The unit is guided in the middle of the mast. The gear box is fitted with four hydraulic motors to attain maximum torque of 1200 Kg-Mtr of 160mm spindle Dia to withstand shock load during drilling.

Feed SystemThe feed system is actuated through hydraulic feed cylinder (125 x 90 x 5000) and directly coupled to rotary head. The feed system has the following capacity: -

The hydraulic system shall be powered by the separate suitable deck engine with suitable control & emergency shutdown system at the operator's panel.

The system consists of 6 Nos. box type hydraulic leveling jacks and controlled by individual pilot operated check valve for stability. Two jacks are at front end of the rig, two jacks at middle of the rig and two jacks are at the rear side of the rig controlled by a single valve.

Hydraulic operated rigid break out wrench is provided for easy breaking of rod joints.Break Out Specifications - 100 x 63 x 350

A high pressure hydraulic motor driven water injection pump with a capacity of 100 liters per minute (lpm) maximum flow with pressure of 40 kg/cm2 complete with necessary fittings, pressure regulator, check valve suction filter etc is provided.

All necessary control & monitoring valves and gauges are installed at the Control Panel located at the left side rear of the drilling machine. A portable hydraulic joystick operation is provided for remote operation to keep the driller away from dust. An emergency switch for all engines will be provided at control panel.

Two units of ATLAS COPCO make two stage air compressor to develop 1100 Cfm @ 300 Psi coupled with Cummins Engine NTA855 are mounted on the same platform along with the rig unit.

A positive acting line lubricator is provided for injecting oil in the compressed air system complete with oil reservoir for lubricating the working of pneumatic tools.

Hydraulic operated 10 ton winch is provided on the mast assembly to handle drill tools & Hammer etc.

Capacity - 25 liters suitable for 1100 Cfm @ 300 Psi Compressor

š A forward dump option with hydraulic cylinder size of 100 x 63 x 1200 is provided on the mast.
