41a EDIZIONE MOSTRA CONVEGNO
EXPOCOMFORT
Si è appena conclusa la 41° edizione
di MCE - MOSTRA CONVEGNO
EXPOCOMFORT, la manifestazione
biennale leader mondiale
nell’impiantistica civile e industriale,
l’innovazione tecnologica intesa come
digitalizzazione dei prodotti e dei processi,
l’integrazione tra mondo elettrico e termico,
tra fonti energetiche tradizionali e rinnovabili.
Sistemi all’avanguardia in grado di assicurare
qualità dell’aria, comfort, risparmio energetico e
ottimizzazione delle risorse secondo le diverse
esigenze dell’ambiente costruito: dalla singola
abitazione al condominio, dal capannone
industriale ai grandi centri commerciali.
A Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, Mitsubishi
Electric, Climaveneta e RC si sono presentate
per la prima volta insieme. I tre brand hanno
mostrato in un unico stand le proprie novità
tecnologiche.
In
particolare nell’area dedicata al comfort
sono state presentate le nuove soluzioni
Climaveneta sviluppate con forte focus su
efficienza energetica e sostenibilità: da
quelle idroniche per il residenziale, alle ultime
pompe di calore polivalenti della gamma
INTEGRA, dal nuovo chiller con refrigerante
ecologico HFO all’innovativo sistema per il
trattamento dell’aria basato su unità WIZARD.
L’area dedicata all’IT Cooling ha accolto tutte le
data centre.
Un focus particolare è stato poi dedicato
al sistema di ottimizzazione ClimaPRO, la
soluzione che attraverso la gestione integrata
di tutti i componenti dell’impianto, permette di
massimizzare l’efficienza energetica del sistema
e di manutenerlo con un approccio predittivo.

HR GALLERY
Come ufficio HR abbiamo iniziato a
lavorare, sin dalla nascita di MEHITS, ad
una progettualità legata alle tematiche
di integrazione e creazione di una nuova
identità culturale per il nostro gruppo.
Di alcune di queste attività, le serate
Kakehashi, i corsi di lingua giapponese
ed altre vi abbiamo già raccontato nei
precedenti numeri.
Pasquale Bressi Pizzimenti,
Amministratore Delegato della Società di Scienze
Comportamentali, che ha gestito e progettato
assieme a noi l’intervento.
Persone, che nel titolo “Changes for the better”
portando contributi d’esperienza professionale
Auguri, Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling
Marco Vialetto, BU Manager, Chiller & Heat
Pumps
così tanto tempo nello stesso luogo e a discutere
del nostro “changes for the better” da coltivare
insieme, tutti i giorni.”
Michele Pagini, Administration & Financial
Manager
“Con il contributo di profilers esperti abbiamo
avviato un percorso di analisi e consapevolezza
strategica molto interessante.
organizzazione e portarci a raggiungere importanti
traguardi.
Alberto Valente, Supply Chain & Global
Purchasing Manager
“Riflettere e dialogare costruttivamente con i colleghi
è stato molto coinvolgente e appassionante. La
squadra ha lavorato con energia, dimostrando
che assieme possiamo raggiungere traguardi
molto importanti. Questo ha permesso di sentire
l’entusiasmo crescere alle stelle, sensazione
meravigliosa.”
Mauro Montello, Sales & Marketing General
Manager
Comportamenti facendo emergere molti aspetti sui
quali riflettere e che difficilmente sarebbero venuti
fuori in altro modo.
TALENTDEVELOPMENT
DAI VALORIALLE COMPETENZE
From Values to Skills
The HR office started to work, from
the beginning of MEHITS, on a
project related to the themes of
integration and creation of a new
cultural identity for our group.
Some of these activities like the Kakehashi
evenings Japanese language courses we have
mentioned in previous issues.
This time we would like to talk about how we
tried to support the organizational change by
creating a pattern of values and skills, shared
with the top managerial level, which are the
basis of our new identity as MEHITS but also
to align ourselves with the culture of our parent
company.
We will tell you how the first part of this
experience took place with the eyes of those
who participated.
Pasquale Bressi Pizzimenti, Managing Director
of the Society of Behavioral Sciences, who
managed and designed the project together
with us, reflects; “On 6 and 7 February I had the
pleasure of working with a group of people, who
have a common responsibility for the direction
and success of MEHITS now and in the future.
From the title “Changes for the better” I asked
each participant to identify a significant skill
needed for the overall vision, able to combine
the values of a corporate past with that of a rich
future full of stimuli, challenges, and innovation.
In these two days, my role was simply that
of a facilitator: I had given myself, in fact,
the objective of combining all the ideas
expressed by the individual members of the
group, bringing contributions of professional
and personal experience in order to stimulate
every possible reflection to create a shared
and common construction of a business model
consistent with the objectives of the business
plan expressed by the shareholder.
Without any doubts, I must tell you that the result
at the end of the activity was excellent.
The whole group, in the name of the best
behavioral elegance and respecting the thought
of individual poersonalities, defined a model of
Vision, Values, Mission that with new skills and
specific behaviors needed - I am sure - to give
satisfaction to the whole professional community
and to the parent company.
The result achieved in this first phase of the
journey towards the future is not a coincidence.
In fact, this group of people, very well known
within the company, had the ability and the
grace to put different visions, technical skills,
sense of responsibility, passion for what they do
together, as the while listening and observing.
This is not such an easy feat.
Good luck, Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT
Cooling Systems!”
To all your people who - I am sure – can
understand, 2018 will be your year “
Some of the participants’ thoughts:
Marco Vialetto, BU Manager, Chiller & Heat
Pumps
“The two days were intense and in many ways
surprising! Thirteen colleagues who I do not
think have ever been in the same place together
for so long, constructively discussed what we
will have to do as a Company from tomorrow,
how to do it and why! We were able to even
agree on it! This is the proof that we have all the
potential to be the architects of our “changes for
the better” to grow together, every day.”
Michele Pagini, Administration & Financial
Manager
“With the contribution of expert profilers, we
started a very interesting strategic analysis and
awareness process. When working in a team for
several days represents the first real opportunity
to share models, actions, and behaviors that
will help the new organization grow and lead us
to achieve important goals. Emotional aspects
and teamwork are key concepts that generated
important topics for comparison “
Alberto Valente, Supply Chain & Global
Purchasing Manager
“Reflecting and constructively talking with
colleagues was very engaging and exciting.
The team worked with energy, demonstrating
that together we can achieve very significant
goals. This allowed us to think, the sky’s the
limit, a wonderful feeling.”
Mauro Montello, Sales & Marketing General
Manager
Taking a break from everyday problems to focus
on key settings to be given to our business
is something we don’t do often. Occasions
such as this, where we stop to think about the
guidelines to be given to the organization to
make it work better are welcome. I found the
approach of the consultants who linked Values,
Skills, and Behaviors very interesting, they
brought out many aspects which we can reflect
on and which wouldn’t have come out in any
other way.
LEADERSHIPE CAMBIAMENTO
MEHITSLIFE05
pg.08/09
HR GALLERY
Il focus delle interviste sarebbe stato un
approfondimento su come i colleghi stessero
organizzativo. Citando le sue parole “abituarsi
al cambiamento, per le Aziende, significa
rimanere al passo, creare un ambiente positivo,
sostituire la sensazione di incertezza con una
visione ben precisa. Il fattore umano in questo
contesto è decisivo, infatti se gestito e supportato
adeguatamente può diventare un forte vantaggio
competitivo. Per assicurarsi questo vantaggio le
organizzazioni devono affidarsi a manager con
determinate caratteristiche, competenti e all’altezza
In tale legame,
leader. Il termine leader deriva dall’inglese “to
nuovi.”
globale.
l’accetti e vai in crisi…”
Fabio Zambon: “Il cambiamento in atto ha portato
alla creazione di obiettivi sfidanti e stimolanti. È
innegabile che ci siano delle differenze sostanziali
nelle metodologie adottate in ambito lavorativo
lavoro.
THE TEAM
LEADERSHIP AND CHANGE
A few months ago, Alberto,
who is graduating in Social
Psychology and Work Sciences,
contacted us. He was working
on a thesis entitled “Leadership
in organizational and cultural
change”. Alberto asked us to
enrich his work, analyzing
MEHITS by interviewing some of
our colleagues on how they are
experiencing the organizational
and cultural changes we are
facing, first from the Acquisition
and then the Merger.
The focus of the interviews was an in-depth
analysis of how colleagues are interpreting and
adapting their way of being leaders.
The goal of the thesis was to identify which
leadership styles and which characteristics
of the leaders are successful in situations of
organizational change. Citing Alberto’s words
“Getting used to change, for companies,
means keeping up with the pace, creating a
positive environment, replacing the feeling of
uncertainty with a clear vision. The human factor
in this context is decisive, in fact if properly
managed and supported it can become a
strong competitive advantage. To ensure this
advantage, organizations must rely on managers
with certain characteristics, competent and up to
the task “.
According to Alberto’s thesis Leadership: “[...]
is a bond of influence between leaders and
followers. In this relationship, both sides play
an active role in achieving common goals. The
objectives, however, can only be achieved
through careful and accurate supervision by the
leader. The term leader derives from English “to
lead” which means “directing”, this term refers to
an individual’s ability to lead a group of people.
Leaders play a major role in the processes of
change within organizations; they are those who
[...] dismantle existing paradigms by creating
new ones. “
Alberto asked for the chance to meet three of
our managers to get their opinion on this issue.
Marco Vialetto, Andrea Marchioro, and Fabio
Zambon gladly accepted to talk with him. Below,
you can read some extracts from their interviews.
Marco Vialetto: “We had the chance to join
a large global group, with an internationally
known brand... I immediately considered this an
opportunity for personal and collective growth.
I am aware of the points that need attention,
because this change requires us to abandon the
mentality of a large entrepreneurial group [...]
to bring us into a global reality. Trust is for me
means being aware that things are difficult but
trying to improve one step at a time [...] are more
things we can take home with this challenge than
the effort to adapt to the new reality. “
Andrea Marchioro: “In addition to changing
the organizational structure, another important
change has affected the corporate culture: the
Veneto entrepreneurial culture [...] has had to
deal with the Japanese culture, which gives
great importance to planning. [...] Japanese
culture has led to a middle-top approach,
in which middle management is central, a
fundamental linking function in the organization.
The Japanese culture has also allowed us to
deal with a new concept, that of Nemawashi,
a continuous informal process that helps and
supports the decision-making and thus allows to
arrive at the meetings prepared and with already
established decisions. [...] I was impressed by
how Japanese culture respects the person, the
Japanese companies look like big families, and
for this reason when a member quits, they see it
as a moment of mourning. [...] The challenge of
change; or accept it and face it, or reject it and
go into crisis ... “
Fabio Zambon: The change taking place
has led to the creation of challenging and
stimulating goals. It is undeniable that there are
substantial differences in the methodologies
adopted in the workplace and not only, these
different methodologies must be identified and
understood, if we want to create common ground
to structure the work more effectively. I think that
the challenge of change must be tackled with
the utmost transparency, only in this way our
colleagues will be able to reacquire the trust that
is often replaced by the sense of uncertainty.
In every change you face, small or big, the
important thing is not to lose yourself. We must
know how to adapt, but we must not renounce
ourselves.
We conclude with a big thank you to Alberto,
who has offered us this interesting moment of
reflection and to the colleagues involved for their
availability.

MEHITS&MORE
È passato ancora troppo poco tempo per poter
dire come ricorderemo Mostra Convegno 2018,
Mitsubishi Electric è ormai cosa nota a tutti.
Per molti mesi siamo stati coinvolti nel
cambiamento, abbiamo preso parte all’intenso
badge, uniformi e nuova documentazione.
e stiamo lavorando all’integrazione più
– specializzata sui 3 brand Mitsubishi Electric,
ecologico e compressore inverter i-FX HFO.
ATTENTI A QUEI 3!By Mauro Montello,
General Manager Sales & Marketing
Too little time has passed to be able to say how
we will remember Mostra Convegno 2018, but it
will certainly remain in the minds of all of us and
our visitors as a memorable rite of passage for
our organization.
In this edition Mitsubishi Electric, Climaveneta,
and RC presented themselves at MCE together
for the first time. The three brands have shown
their most recent technological innovations in a
single stand of over 1,000 square meters. But
the real news was the coexistence of all three
brands under a single roof since in every past
edition, each was present with their own stand.
The entry of Climaveneta and RC into the
Mitsubishi Electric family is now known to
everyone. We were involved in the change
for many months, we took part in the intense
process that led to the specialization of the
Climaveneta and RC brands, and we all got
used to seeing the brand with 3 diamonds on
badges, uniforms, and new documentation.
Even if the process is far from over and we are
working on integration more intensely than ever,
this edition of MCE marked a further turning
point. Two years after the acquisition everyone’s
work begins to bear fruit and we were ready to
present ourselves to the market as one reality -
Mitsubishi Electric - with 3 specialized brands:
Mitsubishi Electric, Climaveneta, and RC.
The message was transferred strongly to the
market with a stand that, in the context of a
highly institutional system, focused on the
specialization areas of the 3 brands.
Mitsubishi Electric Climatizzazione,
the brand with which the Italian branch
operates, was strongly focused on direct
expansion technology, which has always
been the backbone of the group, in which
the new Kirigamine Zen solution stood out.
Climaveneta presented the best of its hydronic
technologies, including the new multipurpose
unit, i-NX-Q with inverter and the chiller, i-FX
with ecological refrigerant HFO and inverter
compressor. RC underlined the renewed focus
on the core business of IT cooling applications,
with a complete range of solutions, some
absolutely new for this segment.
The number of visitors to the stand, the
reverberation that our participation has had on
the media and social media and the positive
feedback from many important customers was
the best proof of the success of this event,
which we are confident will soon materialize in
positive business results.
At the same time, we bring home a further
satisfaction from the fair for the effective
collaboration established before and during the
event with our colleagues of Mitsubishi Electric
Italia, a collaboration that will be intensified in
the coming months and that received a positive
début at MCE.
#MCE2018BE CAREFUL OF THOSE 3!
THE PROJECT
MCE has always been the moment where many months of work in the technical, commercial, and
organizational areas have reached their peak with the presentation of new products to the market.
Then, at the end of the show, the spotlights are turned off and the event remains in the memory
associated with the new products presented. We end up talking about the “sustainable comfort
time” or the “UNICO TURBO FL” edition.

Vediamo da vicino le unità che
sono state presentate in fiera.
Nell’area dedicata al comfort, sono
stati presentati i nuovi prodotti
Climaveneta:
e senza kit idronico e in versione solo freddo (i-
ventilconvettore a marchio Climaveneta è
i-NX-Q raggiungono efficienze sempre superiori
in qualsiasi stagione.
unità a velocità fissa.
regolamento europeo Ecodesign 1253/2014 e
sono quindi ERP 2018. La serie WIZARD DX
sfrutta l’efficiente tecnologia a espansione diretta
alimentando la batteria interna con il refrigerante
ecologico R410A in abbinamento alle unità
esterne a pompa di calore Mitsubishi Electric
Mr Slim.
L’area dedicata all’ IT Cooling ha
invece ospitato le nuove soluzioni
per il raffreddamento dei data
center a marchio RC.
data center. Poiché queste strutture necessitano
di condizionamento 365 giorni all’anno, 24 ore
al giorno, sfruttare l’energia gratuita dell’area
esterna per raffreddare è una soluzione vincente
per minimizzare i consumi energetici di queste
applicazioni. Inoltre molti datacenter si trovano in
zone climatiche fredde dov’è possibile sfruttare
a marchio RC.
temperature diverse.

I PRODOTTI
MCE 2018: THE PRODUCTS
Let’s take a closer look at the units
that were presented at Mostra
Convegno. In the area dedicated
to comfort, the following new
Climaveneta products were shown:
i-BX-N is the new Climaveneta branded, air-
cooled heat pump for residential use. The new
range, from 4.20 to 34.3 kW, is available in single-
phase and three-phase versions, with and without
the hydronic kit and in cooling-only version (i-BX),
to meet all the comfort needs of residential and
small tertiary sectors. The i-BX-N and i-BX ranges
use Mitsubishi Electric inverter compressors, to
create synergy between the Group’s technologies,
while at the same time guaranteeing the highest
quality for new products.
i-LIFE2 SLIM is the renewed fan coil range,
dedicated to residential comfort. Conceived
to make every kind of residential environment
more comfortable, the new i-LIFE2 Slim fan coil
integrates excellent performance with irresistible
charm.
Featuring a harmonious design and an
extraordinary depth of only 13 cm, i-LIFE2 Slim
complements the interior design and fits perfectly
in modern buildings.
i-NX-Q2: a new air source smart heat pump that
combines all the potentialities of the variable
speed drive technology with the well-known
advantages of the INTEGRA units. By matching
the INTEGRA concept with the inverter technology
in both the compressors and fans, the new unit
further raises the efficiency bar making the
production of hot and cold water absolutely cost-
effective.
i-FX HFO represents the new range of chillers with
inverter screw compressors fully optimized for
R1234ze refrigerant. Combining brilliant annual
efficiency with the adoption of a very low GWP
refrigerant, FX HFO counteracts both the indirect
impact (due to primary energy consumption) and
the direct impact on global warming, offering a
solution that works at maximum power only for
a limited number of hours per year, while most
of the time operating in partial conditions. In this
situation, the efficiency achieved by the units with
inverter technology is noticeable higher than that
of traditional fixed speed units.
The units of the WIZARDX series are designed for
fresh air treatment with high energy efficiency and
extreme configurability. The WIZARDX units are
provided with a wheel recovery system and fans
with low energy consumption, the components
are selected according the European regulation
1253/2014 and so the WIZARDX are ERP 2018
compliant. The WIZARDX series exploits the
efficient direct expansion technology feeding the
internal exchange coil with the ecologic refrigerant
R410A combined with the Mitsubishi Mr. Slim
outdoor heat pump units.
The area dedicated to IT Cooling
hosted all the newest solutions for
data center cooling offered by the
RC brand:
i-NR-FC-Z is the new air-cooled RC chiller with
inverter compressor and free-cooling, which
summarizes the best of RC’s and Climaveneta’s
experience and technology to maximize energy
efficiency in data center cooling. Since these
facilities need air conditioning 365 days a year,
24 hours a day, taking advantage of the free
energy of the outdoor area to cool the internal
environment is a winning solution which minimizes
the energy consumption of these applications. In
addition, many datacenters are in cold climatic
zones where it is possible to exploit the outdoor air
to cool 99.9% of the time for free. All this makes
free cooling an ideal technology for reducing
energy consumption, costs, and CO2 emissions in
data centers.
NEXT X TYPE is the new water chilled Close
Control Air Conditioner, RC branded. The unit was
designed following a CFD analysis (Computational
Fluid Dynamics) with the aim of reducing energy
consumption and maintenance costs of a data
center, while providing high reliability and
continuous operation. The heart of the NEXT X
TYPE is the innovative X coil. The unit is equipped
with 4 coils with an “X” layout instead of the
traditional single 8-row coils.
In modern high-density data centers, an advanced
containment system is essential in order to provide
physical separation of hot and cold air streams
and keep the highest energy efficiency inside the
environment.
RC Aisle Containment System is a structure
made of modular and scalable panels that
physically contains the airflows, thus preventing
hot and cold air mixing. It is a simple and effective
solution that guarantees the servers will only
be fed with the cold air required by the server,
eliminating energy waste and making the cooling
system more efficient.
Also for the IT Cooling segment the first integrated
solution will be presented, with RC HPAC units
and MELCO Mr. Slim working together. The new
direct expansion R410a close control split system,
RC branded, has a cooling capacity from 5 to 40
kW and can be linked to Mr. SLIM, the condensign
unit designed by MELCO. This solution has been
designed for small & medium data rooms.

famiglia ormai!
Have you ever visited Mostra Convegno?
Yes, in the past. I think it’s always interesting
to see what the competition is doing.
Is there more attention when producing a
unit for the fair?
Certainly yes, the units for the fair are
treated in greater detail (for example, we
paint both the tubes and the welds), which
normally is not done for time constraints.
Are you proud of the fact that the unit you
produced was seen by so many people?
Of course I’m proud! I’ve been here for 37
years and I’m really part of this family now!

INTERVISTA DOPPIADOUBLE INTERVIEW
..and the winner is:
LORENA TRENTIN
..and the winner is:
MATTEO FOLADORE
Cos’hai pensato quando hai sentito
pronunciare il tuo nome?
LT Tralasciando il fatto che ero mezza
ammalata, senza voce, raffreddata e
fino all’ultimo momento volevo stare a
casa, sinceramente non ci credevo… ero
sorpresa e frastornata.
MF Primo pensiero: Matteo Fola…??!!
Chi? Cosa?...Impossibile...Ma è uno che
si chiama come me? Dopo qualche ora:
Dopo qualche
giorno: chissà se finirò su Mehits life?...“Aria
What did you think when you heard your
name called?
LT Besides the fact that I was half sick,
voiceless, had a cold and until the last
second, I had thought to stay home, I
honestly could not believe it ... I was
surprised and dazed.
MF My first thought: Matteo Fola ... ?? !!
Who? What? ... Impossible ... But is there
someone else with my name? After a
few hours: YAY! ... Being a big shot is a
wonderful Christmas gift! After a few days:
I wonder if I will end up in MEHITS LIFE?
... “Aria di Novità” for the most vintage
colleagues in the company.
Te lo aspettavi?
LT Ma figuriamoci no!! Chi si aspetta di
vincere il primo premio? Solitamente alle
lotterie dell’ufficio non vinco mai nulla
nemmeno un misero panettone. Ovviamente
ringrazio Laura per avermi “pescato”.
MF Che dire…ovviamente no! E’ stato un
bel colpo di fortuna visto quanti eravamo
presenti durante l’evento.
Did you expect it?
LT Not at all!! Who expects to win the first
prize? Usually at office lotteries I never win
anything, not even a panettone. Obviously, I
want to thank Laura for having “caught” me.
MF What can I say ... obviously not! It was
entirely luck seeing how many people were
present during at event.
Have you ever won anything before?
LT To tell you the truth the only thing I won
was a few years ago with a scratch card, I
won 200 euros.
MF If I exclude the 2, 3 maximum 5 euros
of a few scratchcards ... as a child I won a
beautiful red fire mattress as first prize at a
festival, it was tragically pierced a few hours
later by the cactus in the entryway at home
... I was so upset!
Ti è piaciuta la serata nel suo
complesso?
Diversi
colleghi di Pavia vederli di persona e dare
un volto ad una mail o ad una voce è stato
sicuramente entusiasmante.
finale abbracciati tutti assieme…troppo
divertente!
Did you like the evening as a whole?
LT Certainly, being the first event of its kind,
it was really nice, especially given the fact
that we could meet our colleagues, from
the various plants, that we had never seen.
Being isolated in the Cassola office, it is
especially pleasant to see everyone.
MF It was fantastic, the last event was years
ago, and made me feel a part of the group,
all the various departments and plants
together – it is so rare to see it. It was great
to finally meet several colleagues from Pavia
that I email with – to give a face to an email
or a voice was certainly exciting. One of
the best parts was the final group dance,
hugging everyone together ... soo funny!
MF DJset fino all’alba ovviamente!...Dai
organizzato, trasferimenti, buffet, discorsi
A tip for the next year:
LT Only one thing, more tables and chairs
for dinner, I do not like to eat standing up
without a table to lean on, but I liked the
bus initiative and it should definitely be
repeated.
MF A DJ set until dawn of course! ... Other
than that, there is little to say, everything
was well organized, transfers, buffets,
speeches, it couldn’t have been easy to
make everything go so smooth ... and then
the best part - the lottery!
Cosa fai in MEHITS?
LT Accounts specialist, in parole povere
sono in amministrazione, contabilità fornitori,
contabilità generale e come sanno in molti i
cespiti… l’incubo di tutti i plant.
MF Da solo faccio gran poco…con Nicola e
Matteo Junior facciamo HMI, che detta così
sembra quasi un farmaco segreto prodotto
dall’ ufficio E&C…eccìì!..salute!...la battuta
ce la fanno in tanti, dovevo scriverla! Detta
What do you do in MEHITS?
LT I’m an Accounts Specialist, in a nutshell,
I work in the administration department
dealing with supplier accounting, general
accounting and as many people know the
assets ... the nightmare of all the plants.
MF By myself I do very little ... with Nicola
and Matteo Junior we do HMI, which
sounds like a secret drug produced by the
E&C office ...Jokes aside, we take care of
the electronic user interface systems on our
machines and their remote controls.
Da quanti anni sei in azienda?
LT Ho festeggiato gli 8 anni il 17 novembre,
e le cose sono cambiate parecchio da
allora, cambiato sede circa 3 anni fa
da M11 a M15, cambiato azienda da
Climaveneta a Delclima ed ora Mitsubishi,
vedremo cosa ci riserverà il futuro.
MF Ho festeggiato la doppia cifra l’anno
scorso…da quando i saturi stavano nel
bunker direbbero i colleghi veterani di
Bassano…Ma in realtà siamo tutti ripartiti da
0 recentemente no?!
How long have you been working at the
company?
LT I celebrated 8 years on November 17,
and things have changed a lot since then,
we changed officies about 3 years ago
from M11 to M15, the company changed
from Climaveneta to Delclima and now
Mitsubishi, we will see what the future holds.
MF I celebrated double digits last year ...
back when we were in the bunker as the
veteran colleagues of Bassano would say
... But in reality, we have all restarted from 0
recently right?!
Da bambina cosa sognavi di fare da
grande?
LT Mmm sinceramente non ricordo,
sicuramente non l’impiegata, forse la
ballerina, forse la cantante… sì sarà stato
la cantante, possono confermarlo i miei
colleghi che sentono spesso i miei assoli
(non sempre intonatissimi).
MF Da bambino ho passato varie fasi su
As a child what did you dream of doing
when you grew up?
LT Mmm… I do not remember, certainly not
working in an office, perhaps a ballerina, or
a singer ... yes it would have been a singer,
my colleagues can confirm, as they often
hear my solos (though not always in tune).
MF As a child I went through various
phases, from the classic Serie A player, to
the F1 driver inspired by Senna who drove
to Monte Carlo, to the fighter ... I think
watching “The Tiger Man” and “KenShiro”
E potendo rinascere cosa faresti invece?
MF Potendo rinascere, rinascerei bello
…and the winner is…
anzi, and the winners are…
LORENA E MATTEO!!!
MEHITSLIFE05
pg.16/17
OUR PEOPLE
sempre con il sorriso…è scontato ma
semplicemente vero.
And if you could start over again what would
you do instead?
LT If we are talking about impossible
dreams, I’d like to own a couple of castles,
villas, cars and have lots of money! If we are
talking about a different job instead, I would
have liked to run a computer school to work
with PCs.
MF I would be reborn rich and successful ...
in the style of Christian Gray of the famous
film ... I was forced to see it! If I could be
reborn sincerely I would like to always be
smiling ... we take it for granted.
e Paola, invece dopo pranzo essendo in
anno…arrivando ad organizzare, e me ne
vergogno un po’, dimostrazioni delle pentole
con le nostre compagne. Ovviamente ogni
nostro!
The colleague with whom you always grab
coffee:
LT Usually mid-morning with Monica and
Paola, but after lunch because there are so
few of us, we all gather together around the
machine and we chat a bit.
MF There isn’t one colleague, but more
or less always the same small group. We
organize a dinner for the coffee machine
group at the end of the year ... Obviously
each group has its leader and King Giorgio
is ours!
all’evento di Natale:
telefonicamente.
What convinced you to participate in the
Christmas event:
LT The fact that it was the first party and it
would have been a pity to miss, the curiosity
to see what had been organized and the
desire to meet colleagues I’ve never seen
but only heard by phone.
MF Hearing that all the colleagues I spoke
to were enthusiastic and intrigued by this
wonderful evening was an even stronger
incentive to participate.
Un saluto a tutti i colleghi MEHITS:
LT Un saluto a tutti, vi auguro un buon
lavoro e ci vediamo il prossimo Natale…
comunque ci sentiamo prima, ovviamente
non è una minaccia… Ciao ciao!
MF Un saluto a tutti i colleghi MEHITS: Ciao
assomigliare a me.
Send a greeting to all your MEHITS
colleagues:
LT Hello to everyone, I hope you enjoy your
work and see you next Christmas ... anyway
we will talk before hand, it’s obviously not a
threat ...Bye Bye!
MF Hello to all my colleagues from every
plant! I wish you a year full of personal and
professional satisfaction ... and that you
win the lottery next year! Go Milan! but also
a small support for Juve as they say that
Mandzukic tries to do everything to look
like me.
possibile.
Clarity and simplicity. For the pursuit of a
goal, both in work and in everyday life, it is
important to plan the route to reach the set
goal. The road can be long with obstacles to
be overcome, actions to be carried out and
timelines to be respected but it is important
to make sure that the goal can be achieved
in the simplest way possible.
In certe situazioni bisogna lamentarsi il
meno possibile su ciò che non funziona,
ma cercare di aiutare, suggerire idee,
cambiamenti, per cercare di risolvere
un eventuale problema o migliorare una
situazione. Anche mettere la propria
esperienza al servizio degli altri può aiutare
a fare la differenza. Negli anni ho imparato a
In certain situations, we must complain as
little as possible about what isn’t working, but
instead try to help, suggest ideas, try to solve
a problem or improve a situation. Even putting
one’s experience at the service of others can
help make the difference. Over the years I have
learned to be less impulsive, involve everyone
more because decisions taken together, in the
end they are more serenely accepted.

STAGEINTERNSHIP
OUR PEOPLE
MEHITS
era tenuta al rispetto della nuova normativa
entro settembre 2018.
La novità più importante di questa nuova
certificazione è rappresentata dall’approccio
risk based thinking (pensiero basato sul
rischio).
Il Sistema Qualità deve: identificare i rischi
che possono ostacolare il raggiungimento
degli obiettivi ed attuare azioni che
contengano il rischio e di conseguenza
aumentino la percentuale di successo.
Abbiamo proposto alla Direzione il passaggio
alla nuova norma cogliendo l’occasione
dell’integrazione del Sistema con le sedi
lombarde: un obiettivo anche questo
molto impegnativo che si è sovrapposto
al precedente. Non ci eravamo mai
occupati di rischi a livello di business
e non conoscevamo appieno il sistema
qualità esistente a Pavia. Ci siamo pertanto
confrontati con chi già adottava l’approccio
basato sui rischi a livello strategico ovvero
l’internal audit studiando assieme a Maria
Diletta Marotti lo strumento migliore per
mettere su carta l’analisi dei rischi. A Pavia,
la pronta collaborazione dei colleghi ci ha
permesso di allineare le procedure alla nuova
ISO9001 integrando contemporaneamente i
processi.
positivo!
THE QUALITY ASSURANCE
TEAM UPDATE
2017 was a year of profound changes for
MEHITS, and the Quality Assurance Team
implemented numerous projects that have
significantly contributed to innovating the
quality management system.
2017 was a year of profound changes for
MEHITS, and the Quality Assurance Team
implemented numerous projects that have
significantly contributed to innovating the
quality management system.
First of all, it is worth mentioning the transition
of the Quality System certification from
ISO9001: 2008 to ISO9001: 2015. MEHITS was
required to comply with the new legislation by
September 2018.
The most important development of this new
certification is represented by the risk based
thinking approach. The Quality System must:
identify the risks that may hinder achievement
of objectives and implement actions that
contain the risks and consequently increase the
likelihood of success.
We proposed the transition to the new standard,
taking the opportunity of the integration with the
Lombardy offices: a very challenging objective
that overlapped the abovementioned one. We
had never dealt with business risks and did
not fully know much about the existing quality
system in Pavia. We therefore confronted those
who already adopted the risk-based approach
at strategic levels, specifically the internal audit,
studying with Maria Diletta Marotti the best
tool for our risk analysis. In Pavia, the prompt
collaboration of our colleagues has allowed us
to align the procedures to the new ISO9001 by
simultaneously integrating the processes.
Thanks to everyone’s willingness and availablity
the ICIM’s November audits were successful!
LEISURE TIME
prossimo?!
Guardiamo adesso insieme gli scatti più belli
della serata:

THE FIRST MEHITS CHRISTMAS EVENT:
PHOTOS FROM THE EVENING
It seems like a lifetime ago but maybe some
will remember: on December 22nd the first
MEHITS Christmas event took place! 500
participants, 8 speakers, 7 coach buses, and
2 special guests for 1 big night in excellent
company.
Nothing was missing from Araki’s speech in
Italian that left everyone astonished, to the
Christmas greetings of Matsumoto, from the
impressive lottery, to the after-dinner dancing,
to all the chit-chat and handshakes!
It’s true: we were not able to involve everyone
and that’s too bad, but if the event was perfect,
what goals do we have for the next one?!
Let’s look at the best photos of the evening
together.
A cavallo tra il 2017 e il
2018, anche a seguito degli
innumerevoli cambiamenti
a livello organizzativo che
prima l’Acquisizione poi la
Fusione hanno generato,
noi del team HR abbiamo
lavorato per la definizione
di un nuovo percorso di
onboarding.
e i comportamenti utili a diventare parte
vademecum “A taste of Japan”, pensato
conoscere a tutti i neoassunti i primi
L’incontro a
insieme.
Sarà poi cura di HR BU Manager/HR BP,
personalizzare in un secondo momento
l’overview sulla parte organizzativa,
con specifico riferimento alla struttura
organizzativa nella quale il neoassunto andrà
ad inserirsi.
Gli incontri coinvolgono tutti i neoassunti
di quel periodo, questo allo scopo di
creare un’ulteriore occasione per favorire
la conoscenza reciproca, una delle basi
principali per una fruttuosa e positiva
collaborazione professionale.
Questo progetto di onboarding toccherà tutti
i nuovi colleghi assunti a partire dal 2018.
Il processo si conclude con una giornata
di “Welcome on Board”, un momento di
Benvenuto Ufficiale in Azienda.

MEHITS MEMO
ONBOARDINGPROCESS#18
Onboarding
process #18
Between 2017 and 2018, due to
the innumerable changes at the
organizational level that the Acquisition
and then the Merger have generated,
the HR team worked to define a new
onboarding process.
The onboarding process is the set of activities
through which new employees acquire the
knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to
become an integral part of the business group.
The English define this process also with the
term “organizational socialization” because, if
well structured, it allows the new employee and
the company to build a solid foundation for a
deep and lasting relationship, which benefits the
socialization between colleagues.
The journey starts from the day before the first
day in the company, when the organizational
communication that presents the new employee is
sent to the entire company (this a good habit that
we have been doing for several years).
On the first day, the employee is welcomed by
meeting with the team, and he/she receives a
symbolic “welcome kit” and the new vademecum
“A taste of Japan”, designed to create an initial
meeting with Japanese culture.
The heart of the Induction plan, however, consists
of a series of 14 meetings with the managers
of the main business areas, in the first several
weeks following their entry into the company. Each
manager presents their organizational structure,
the activities, and responsibilities of their own
competence and the flow and the processes in
which they are involved.
The objective of this plan is to make all the new
employees aware of the organizational structure
and other functions deemed to be of strategic
importance for the type of business and / or
organizational aspects. While the Operations
Manager takes care of the plant tour that will
involve the new hires at that plant. The meeting
organized by the Talent Acquisition team aims
to present the organizational structure as a
whole. It will then be the responsibility of HR BU
Manager / HR BP, to later customize the overview
of the organization, with specific reference to
the organizational structure in which the new
employee has entered.
The meetings involve all the new recruits of that
period, in order to create a further opportunity
to promote mutual knowledge, which is one of
the main foundations for a successful and fruitful
professional collaboration. This onboarding project
will affect all new colleagues hired starting from
2018. The process ends with a “Welcome on
Board” day, a moment of official welcome to the
Company.
PREMI PER LO STUDIOStudy Awards
Il giorno 23 gennaio 2018 MEHITS ha
incontrato 11 ragazzi, figli dei dipendenti
dei diversi Plant, che ha premiato per
aver raggiunto traguardi dalla terza
media alla laurea magistrale, attraverso
la consegna dei Premi per lo studio.
Complimenti ai ragazzi e ai loro genitori
On January 23, 2018 MEHITS met 11
students, children of the employees of the
various plants, who were rewarded for
achieving milestones from the eighth grade
to the master’s degree, to hand out their
Prizes. Congratulations to the students and
to their parents!
