Dick discusses putting Tom undercover immediately.

6th and Spring Street, Los AngelesJohn, Harry, SargeJohn and Harry put the squeeze on Sarge, who is now a suspected F.B.I. informant, taking cover deep in skid row. They try and take him out, and a short gun battle ensues. When nearby substation squad cars roll up, they flee and avoid capture.

Long Beach, CACurtis White, Terrence Stillwater, Artie M.Curtis visits a crack cocaine manufacturing plant operating under the guise of an imports warehouse along with Artie M.who is Stage Manager for a musical act Curtis is trying to line up for a major scene in his current film portfolio. The workers are mostly women, who are forced to process and package the product topless for the boss's enjoyment. Artie gets a large supply for the crew and the cast of characters that will be at his arena show tonight.

C.I.A. Headquarters Langley, VADick, TomDick gets the official word of Tom's assignment and gives him the details of the undercover work he is to set on immediately. He outlines the intercepted transmissions of pay to various well trained assassins by a drug supported terrorist organization (para. 2 5.0)

Chicago O'Hare AirportIndiana Falling WolfIndiana attempts to pass through customs on the way to boarding an International flight, his VISA is flagged and he brought into a private Homeland Securities Interrogation room. He is allowed one brief phone call. He speaks in code to his employer, and is informed that when he is released, he is take a flight to San Diego, where other arrangements are being made.

Barrio, San Diego, CAJohn, Harry, Reds Thomas, Reds gives John the free gift of a high powered sniper rifle. In return he is asked to take a taped accuracy and field conditions test for a very high paying job that his biggest client is offering.

The White House, Washington, D.C.President Leeds, C.I.A Director Priorey, Senator LongThe President is briefed on the recent terrorist internet attack, the harnessed sattelite, and the uncovered assassination plot. He is advised to avoid unnecissary appearances and unscheduled and secret campaign contributor meetings. Senator Long argues the President's protection and his right to continue with his plans as expected to.

Barrio, San Diego, CAIndiana Falling Wolf, Crip Danny TomlinsonIndiana hunts a Crip targeted in the setup down in his shack like house in the Barrio region of San Diego. He questions him and kills him. He then takes a phone call from the voice modulated boss, who tells him where to pick up his practice munitions nearby. He pulls a still lit cigarette out of Danny's corpse's mouth, and finishes smoking it.

Flight 567 from Washington, D.C. to LAXTom, Dick Tom reads over all of the briefings, studying them carefully as he has to destroy them when he reaches Los Angeles. (end of page 1 of 5.0)

Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CATom, stick up kid, "Ghost", LAPD Detectives, Bloods Strip and PlayTom has been in the area for a day now, staying at a local beachfront hotel made cheap by the winter season in Santa Monica. He intentionally places himself in harms way, arranging for a front of some heroine by "Ghost". When Ghost attempts to fuck him off, he breaks a wine bottle over his head. A stick up kid sticks him up, pissed about the scene. A murder happens on the beach within Ghosts group. The stick up kid runs to the beach and caps another of the group. When LAPD swarm the scene, the stick up kid gets away as Tom hides behind one of Ocean Front Walk's pavilions. Two Bloods, Strip and Play approach him and ask him to help them hunt the kid, as he is going to come after Tom next. They hunt the stick up kid down. The Bloods ask him to become one of them, and he gives two to the head to the stick up kid in the alley. They dump his body in a dumpster scheduled for pickup in three hours, and phone in the money to keep the sanitation crew quiet.

Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CACarlos Trevoillez, sanitation crew, Strip and PlayCarlos drives one of the local garbage trucks in the early morning hours in the area. He waves off the crew and takes the envelope of money from the Bloods. They pick up the body, as Carlos is taking a call from his mother.

Santa Monica, CA Tom's Hotel RoomTom, Dick StrayerTom is briefed on the new findings about the psychological and forensics profile of the setup fall man being coerced to play his role in the assassination in an attempt to give more direction on where his focus should be. Dick tells him that unbeknownst to him, Tom was setup on the night of the stacks from his last undercover profile accounts. The accounts were his real personal accounts, as the last mission was to be an eyes wide shut type, where Tom was to use his real information. It was considered a high risk affair, which gave Tom higher pay, and put him in line for this assignment.

C.I.A. Headquarters Langley, VADick, Director PrioreyThe Director fills Dick in on the findings of the investigation of the internet terror attack of recent. He tells Dick that a tail undercover has been assigned to Tom, and that he witnessed the two to the head the other night. The tail has no knowledge of the operation other than to report on Tom. He expresses concerns for the safety of the mission if Tom keeps such company. He then arranges for Tom to meet with Harry "the hood" Dominguez ordering a large quantity of drugs from him. He questions Dick about the results of Toms chemical tolerance testing, as he may have to ingest some of the product to keep things real. He tells Dick that Tom's old accounts must be taken back up to their level of activity again, and that he is to go back to his real information as of now in order to continue with the setup activity surveillance. He has also gotten Tom into a film being made, in order to get him to rendezvous with Curtis White. (make sure to cover page 2 para 3 5.0)

Harry "The Hood" Dominguez' Apartment Venice Beach, CAHarry, Tom, LuckyTom calls Harry and orders up a quarter pound of Kush, two ounces of coke, and 10 bundles of smack. He inquires about speed and meth, and is met with a story about a connection tomorrow. Tom has been filled in on all of the necessary insider track information to get the deal done. They make arrangements for the drop to take place at Tom's Hotel Room later on that afternoon. Lucky talks about his weekend in jail after the prowler. Lucky insists when Harry gets off the phone that he scope out the Hotel, since it is such a large deal, and to accompany Harry when he delivers. Harry agrees.

Ocean Front Walk and Sunset, Venice Beach, CASally, Tom, Muscle ManTom goes for a walk to kill time and get some fresh air and exercise. He comes across a woman at the corner of Sunset and Ocean Front Walk who is playing a drum by a sand sculpture of a mermaid she has made. They strike up a conversation, and exchange numbers. They have the same last four digits for a phone number. Sally invites him to the drum circle on Sunday night on the beach, and Tom agrees to meet her an hour before sunset. During their conversation, they are harangued by a body builder strutting for tips in his bikini hitting on Sally. Tom gets annoyed and, using his martial arts training asks the body builder if he can twist his arm to leave them alone, and then does so. The muscle man is easily overtaken when his arm is twisted behind his back and he is forced to kneel and submits. When he leaves, Sally says "You know he stuffs socks in his bikini? " "I wish he'd stuff socks in his mouth" etc etc etc.

Corner of Lincoln and Venice WayTom, Strip, Play, stick up kid, LAPD Detectives Harris and RushmoreTom encounters Strip and Play, who know what happened. Another Blood saw it go down and called them in to tag the kid. They've got him down and together Tom, Strip and Play strip him to his shorts and beat him bloody. Strip and Play have just taken his 22 and knives when they see the beat cops headed in from the south. With only room for two on Strip's crotch rocket, they split. Tom gets arrested. He has heroine, coke, and weed on him in his cargo's set for a delivery on his trip home after Sally's.114

Culver City, County JailTom, Detectives Harris and RushmoreTom is read his rights, and fingerprinted. They insist on a strip search due to his narcotics. "Alright take your clothes off" "I don't know if you want me to do that. I'm pretty horny, I'm might mount Rushmore." "Wouldn't be the first time" "Aww, you remember the last time we danced, Rushmore?" "Just take em off wise guy." He makes his one phone call to Sally to tell her to call his lawyer and get the cash from his safe in his room and bail him out ASAP.119

L.A. County Courthouse, 1 week laterTom, Judge Traverse, Greg Handleman, Esq., Dick, Detective Harris, Sid Freeman (the stick up kid)Tom's case appears on the docket, and he is present with his attorney. Detective Harris is called to testify to his accounts. Sid Freeman is called to testify. In light of his new charges he has gotten since the incident, he confesses to owning the drugs found on Tom. The Judge asks the D.A. for his response. The D.A. drops the charges, and Tom and Greg leave the courtroom. Tom gets a call from Dick, they engage in a conversation that covers the rest of page 3 para's 3 and 4 5.0.131

The President is once again, asked to continue any and all visits which could result in positive exposure to the Hollywood scene by Senator Long. The President asks about the whereabouts of the agent assigned to the covert operation. Director Priorey reassures him that he is very much so in the heat of things and will be the first to know when any big move is about to be made. The inner circle is a select few, and the orders moving about the terrorist cells have been trace to Tom's company of cohorts on the scene. (c overs page 4, para 2 5.0)147

The Pentagon, Washington, D.C.Dick Strayer, Director PrioreyThe Director sends Dick into the field to more closely follow in the footsteps of his man, Tom. Dick grimly faces the possibility of having to have hands on contact, seeing as communications with Tom as of recent have become all too difficult to maintain. The Director fills him in on his new role as Tom's Booking Agent for Broken Records. An arrangement has been made through one of the record company executives, who is unquestioning as to the move thus far. This places Dick in the unfortunate circumstance of having to tell his wife that after eleven years at his desk, he is back in the field. The Director places grave importance on the mission, and wishes him luck. He is to be sent to a C.I.A. physician to have a tracking chip with a six month battery placed in his arm, just inside of the dermis. He is to stick like glue to Tom from here on.153

Flight 567 from Washington, D.C. to LAXDick Strayer, TomDick fills Tom in on his new assignment, and arranges to meet him to plan their attack. He has a list of shows that Artie M. is managing, and is hot to get OZENOZ on the scene. It is a jump in show size, and will take a small circuit of the larger underground venues and some P.R. work to get it done. Dick says he is arranging for the organization of a street team for Tom to promote shows, and the signing of a merchandise company to supply original OZENOZ artwork merchandise. Tom is to say he funded it himself, but the funding is coming from the expense accounts pocket of the agency.158

Santa Barbara, CA, Sunshine Largess 20,000 square foot homeTom, Curtis White, Artie M, Tinny, Sunshine Largess, Harry, Lucky, John , Indiana Falling WolfTom is surrounded by the trappings of a successful music career on the verge of breaking loose. He speaks of plans to try and get the rights of "Us and Them" from Pink Floyd to try and do an OZENOZ and Them single he thinks will bust loose. Curtis White speaks grandiosely about this all being a scene from a future screen gem about how they all got together and put it down on paper. Artie M. introduces John, and Indiana Falling Wolf, who are the new heads of security assigned to the trio's tour attack. Tinny pulls Tom to the side, and raps about how John is a grade a rated hit man who recently got out from the big house on a murder charge on one of his former clients he ran a security detail for. It was noted as an accident happening in the line of fire while trying to handle a gunfight at a club, but he caught ten years and did three for the stray bullet. Tinny warns Tom that he is a loose cannon. Sunshine talks about his campaign contributions and complains about when he is going to get a visit with the President. He speaks of the pull he needs on his side to get the rights to his music, which has been chart topping for two straight years. 171 Pages, 102,600 words, 1026 pages

John hustles him out when he finds his piece strapped to his leg. Indiana goes for an inspection of the Green Rooms. The show schedule is OZENOZ, then Tinny, then Sunshine Largess, ending with a combined performance on their new tracks "Feel Me Out", and "Right Side of Down", Curtis White brings a camera crew to roll footage of the event at the U.S. largest outdoor arena, Lucky and Lucy try and move a shipment of various narcotics through the stage crew for the after party and wind up having sex in the Green Room. Tom walks in on them, and when he won't leave Lucky picks a fight and Tom nearly misses his entrance. 188

Tom's new apartment, North Venice Beach, CATom, Sally, Kevin StrongKevin Strong calls to announce the finalization of a combined arena tour after The Hollywood Bowl gig. Tom and Sally are celebrating when a call comes through. It is an international call, from Pakistan. The Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S. , Khalil Armenti, tells Tom he is receiving an artists for Peace in The Middle East Award for the lyrics in his controversial "The Bomb in Bagging Dad" which openly denounced both U.S. and Terrorist involvement in recent violence. He is invited to a formal dinner, a black tie affair at a private residence to receive the award ceremony invitation, and to warm up to a very international V.I.P. guest list. It is to happen this very evening, the last minute invite he is reassured is to help with the security detail. Tom asks if he can bring a guest, Sally. He is allowed one guest. He hangs up the phone, and marvels in the news. Tom and Sally make love. 195

Tom's new Volt electric car, arriving at the partyTom, Sally, Indiana, John, Sunshine Largess, Kahlil Armenti, President Leeds, Dick Strayer, Kevin Strong, Curtis White, Reds Thomas, Tinny, Several Secret Service Agents, Senator Long, General Tiran of the Pakistani ArmyTom and Sally make their way into the neighborhood of the party. They are dressed to the nines as the small souped up electric car makes its way into the quiet suburban neighborhood. As they pass through the street arriving at the private residence they were directed to, they observe John and Indiana conversing with Reds Thomas on their way away from the residence. Dick Strayer greets Tom at the door, and asks him for a private moment. They step into the study and he tells the President is here, and that he is afraid this is the showdown. Kevin Strong interrupts them, and leads them to Sunshine Largess, who is soaking up his time with President Leeds. Curtis White has a small crew of cameramen taking footage of the affair, but is suddenly hustled out by the Secret Service. Just then Kahlil Armenti and General Tiran of the Pakistani Army arrive and slowly maneuver their way to the Presidents side. 209

Private Residence, Long Beach, CATom, Sally, Indiana, John, Sunshine Largess, Kahlil Armenti, President and First Lady Leeds, Dick Strayer, Kevin Strong, Curtis White, Reds Thomas, Tinny, Several Secret Service Agents, Senator Long, General Tiran of the Pakistani ArmyWhen The President is standing near an open bay window, silently Tom notices bullets begin to hit just off and behind him on the wall through the open window. He tackles him, and all hell breaks loose. The place is riddled with bullets as all parties with the exception of the General, who reveals a weapon and makes his way to get the President in a room off to the side. Dick and Tom confer under the dining room table, and agree that this is a ploy. The Secret Service are obviously infiltrated on this one too. There is more than one shooter outside, but when Dick retrieves one of the slugs, he notices it is of the type that could come from an ordinary handgun in the room itself. Tom takes the General hostage with his own gun, and threatens to kill him if the shooting doesn't cease. This causes a brief break in the firing, long enough to get the President and the first lady into the bathtub in the nearby restroom. Dick goes outside and hunts the snipers, finds John and Indiana and takes them out. Reds Thomas flees the scene just as LAPD Choppers come into the area. Sally is wounded when Tom finds her, shot to the chest. He holds her tight as the paramedics are called in from the nearby fire station. They arrive, and they leave in the ambulance, Tom staying by her side.225

Tom's apartmentTom, Sally, DickThey discuss Tom's final pay for the mission. Dick brings him his last check. Tom is retiring into his new music act, OZENOZ. Sally is brought into the know about his former dealings. He tells her he had to quit. Otherwise he could never of good conscience do this: he gets down on one knee and proposes. She says yes. They all three celebrate the new engagement with toasts. Dick promises to help with the finalizing of the details on the OZENOZ World Tour, and not to ever leave his desk job ever again.235 pages, 141, 000 words
