1. Set up the 20x40 Blue & White tent at the Opera House Park at 5:30 PM.
Next go: 2. to the Library at 6:00 PM to help pick up the
bleachers at Granville High School & unload them on the Post Office lawn.
R E A L S E T U P -‐ * * F r i d a y 6 / 30 * * The Granville downtown streets close at 3:30 PM. Set up can start anytime after 3:30. Show up when you can. Concessions and Carnival rides arrive soon after 3:30. The 1) Semi Trailer, 2) Stage & Ext., 3) Newark Kiwanis Food Trailer, & 4) Food Tent are to be set in this order at +/-‐ 3:30. The following items need to be brought from the barn: wiring, water lines, pinnacle tents (3), trash barrels (all), recycle containers (6), chairs (96), & rectangular tables (16). The electric panels will be uptown already. If many hands show up, we expect to be done by 8:30 pm.

a. 7:30 am >Kiwanians meet in front of the Granville Inn. Pick up six (6) golf carts at the Denison Golf Course. Pick up parade packet information and receive final instructions. b. 8:30 am >Parade assembles: Floats, Vehicles, & Marchers -‐ Broadway & Wildwood Dr Bands, & Fire Trucks – Shepardson Ct. & Maple St., if needed. Dignitaries meet at Granville Inn and move to Shepardson Ct. to form the parade. Horses and horse drawn equipment – Wildwood Park
Note: Do not allow vehicles, floats etc. to block driveways c. 9:30 am>Float Judging –Judges are: ?, ?, & ? d. 10:30 am>Collect parade entrants public announcement sheets & deliver to the stage before the parade starts. e. 10:45 am>Parade starts on time. P A R A D E M A R S H A L Ruth Ann Parsley owner and operator of the Granville Child Care Center at 1062 River Road in Granville. She has touched the lives of so many children through her baby sitting and daycare center since the 1970’s. Starting with her working part time at the childcare center at the Presbyterian Church. She acquired ownership of the center in 1978.

GAMES FOR A L L AGE S ” C on t e s t The games will be held at the grandstand/stage area on Tuesday 4th of July at 2 – 4pm. They are open to all ages and family members. The Granville Recreation District is in charge of the games (3 legged race, egg toss, sack race, etc.)
