Now if you have a date to take to or if you are planning to impress somebody. This song works every time to boost your feelings up. It was actually the only song George Harrison sang during his The Beatles stint. This album was a part of the historic The Beatles album Abbey Road (1969)

Song #4 Maxwell’s Silver Hammer

One of the best songs whenever I feel like hearing a psycho-thriller story. Written by the famous combo Lennon-McCartney for the album Abbey Road (1969). The line “Bang bang Maxwell’s Silver Hammer came down upon her head” is repetitive in all three stanza. And you will come to know why ;)

Song #3 A Day in Life

The best dawn song! This song was actually written independently by John Lennon and Paul McCartney for the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1969). During those days The Beatles on the verge of break-up. The first half is written by Lennon and the other by McCartney. Contrastingly Lennon talks about some random news headlines and on the other hand McCartney talks about his own personal experiences throughout the song.

Song #2 Yesterday

One of the best composition of Lennon-McCartney. I loved the lyrics particularly, very meaningful. It describes a situation in which the person is logging about his/her own sorrow to fight against the problem. It’s from the album Help! (1965)

Song #1 Hey Jude

I still can’t get over this one. Heard over like million times. This song was actually written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon’s son Jude. It’s just like a pep-talk that you give your friends/son/daughter in order to overcome the clouds of pettiness. In 2013, Billboard names it the 10th biggest song of all time.
