What is the lifespan of the bearings?

These parts have a lifespan of approximately 150,000 Km or even more. However, this may be lower depending on external factors such as the weather, the state of the roads, bumping of the wheels on the curbs, entry of liquid, etc.

Why should they be replaced?

When acquiring play, wheel bearings can break and decompose making it possible to cause a fall of the bucket that holds the wheels. Worn, defec�ve or poor quality bearings endanger the safety of the vehicle and passengers.

When should they be replaced?

When the driver perceives noises coming from the wheels such as squeaks, ra�les, knocks, which become more acute as the vehicle's speed increases, they must be replaced. It is highly recommended to replace the bearing kits on both sides of the vehicle at the same �me as they have suffered the same use.Also, having the vehicle elevated, it can be checked if the wheels have play by making small lateral and ver�cal movements, which would indicate a possible failure of the bearings.
