namesake--Rome. There is no better place for devious plots than in ancient Rome. This series followsthe transition of Rome from Republic to Empire under the thumb of Julius Ceasar. However, this time instead of focusing primarily on the lower slave class of Rome, thishistorical drama follows the cunning lives of the upper class.
