OWN YOUR RELATION WITH YOUR AUDIENCE
Instead of renting your audience relationship from social media platforms (twitter, facebook, pinterest, etc.) where
you have little control, your focus in 2016 should be to build your own community of
audience members on your blog.

FIND ONE SM PLATFORM, FOCUS
ON IT AND BUILD IT!
Don’t try to be a master of all social media platforms. Pick one. Work it like crazy and
build it out to the maximum potential. Don’t try to be a JACK of all social media
platforms and MASTER of NONE.

FEED YOUR AUDIENCE WHAT
THEY WANT
If you are doing a food blog, then make the best recipes you can. If it’s on needlepoint,
then make it the most interesting blog. Give your audience the kind of content they
expect from you so they will be happy to return for more, and more, and more.

INSPIRE OTHERS WITH YOUR CREATIVITY
Make use of photos, videos, works of art, and content that showcases your
uniqueness and creativity. Readers want to connect with you because you are different
from everyone else. Be different.

BE CONSISTENT AND REGULAR
Even a drop of water falling on a rock regularly can eventually cut the rock. Even
if your content is not super-duper, just keep at it regularly. Your relationship with
your audience depends on your being there regularly in 2016.
