1. “E” is For “Ergonomic”

An ergonomic chair has back and body support built into its frame and seat back. Look for lumbar support adjustment levers or other ways to adjust the back or seat angle, and to change the tension of the back lumbar support.

2- It Pays to Be Adjustable

Being able to adjust is a great idea to keep in mind when you are travelling, dealing with your significant other, or negotiating with a six-year-old. Adjustable features are also great to have in an office chair design.

Let’s face it, you can have the best looking chair in the world, but unless it has a comfortable seat it won’t do you any good.

• Finally, a chair design with a footrest gives you the flexibility to elevate your legs while you are working. Also, depending on the type of work you do, a footrest allows you to take the pressure of your feet and lower leg joints.
