A Letter from the President
As we close out this riding season I would like to take this opportunity to give a most honorable mention to Larry McCullough. Larry has dedicated so much of his personal time unselfishly and endlessly to this club for many years. Not only is he the clubs treasurer and newsletter editor, he is also the club delegate for SAM. At the last board meeting the members voted unanimously to make Larry a “Life Time Member”. Thank you Larry for all your hard and consistent work. I personally couldn’t do my job as easily without you. Presidents weekend was a success with John Bryant leading his pack of 8, backpacking Friday from Jackman to Millinocket meeting up with 5 other club members at the Baxter Inn. There they rode together until Monday when the magnificent 8 returned to Jackman. Some on their trusty steeds... some in the stagecoach! Dana, Chris A and I were among the 5 that rode with them. As Monday came, we checked into the NEOC for the remainder of the week. The riding was fabulous! Bob C reported his MLK postponed weekend to February 18-22nd. “Found good conditions throughout the county . Everyone had a great time. Trails were in good shape. Moses and Nola led a ride on Saturday. Holy snowmobiling, hold on to your hats!!!!!☺️“. Many Easy Riders have been posting great pictures on our
Facebook group page. I believe I even saw a documented Moses
sighting from the group in Fort Kent! Keep it up folks! We love all
the sharing and our Facebook group is growing. Sharing our good
times will hopefully encourage some people to join us and our
club.
The board is patiently waiting out the pandemic and planning an awesome 50th Anniversary celebration. Stay tuned, more to follow. Dana and I wish you all a safe and healthy spring/summer and we look forward to seeing you all in the fall.
Ps. Don’t forget your trailer maintenance over the summer.

Covid Season Riding recap
Although it has been a tough year for riding (both due to
weather and Covid), many of our members have had a
chance to get some riding in.
For the 1st time in several years we actually have had
the ability to ride in MA. Several riders were able to
head up to northern Worcester County and ride on the
Coldbrook trail system. A big Thank-You to the
Coldbrook Club. Plus one member did a lot of riding
locally here in Central MA. Mike, Dick, Paul, Larry,
Greg, Russ, Tom, Donna and Joe all went out and rode
areas in the Berkshires including Windsor, Adams,
Florida, Savoy and Mt. Graylock. Photos on page 17.
Several members made trips to northern NH (Pittsburg,
Errol, Gorham) and John and Val did some local riding
in Hebron NH area John, who belongs to the club in his
town, learned how to run the groomer. Congratulations.
NH photos on page 12.
Maine, always a hot spot for the Easy Riders to go riding
saw trips to Millinocket, Ft. Kent, and Jackman. Hope I
did not miss any locations. Photos for Millinocket and
Ft. Kent can be found on pages 10 & 11.
