WelcomemessageOn behalf of the Organizing Committee and The Indian Society of Gastroenterology

(ISG) AP Chapter, we welcome you to the 51 Annual Conference of the Indian

Society of Gastroenterology being held at Hyderabad International Convention

Center (HICC) between November 20 - 25 , 2010. This conference is in association

with Indian National Association for Study of Liver (INASL) and Society of

Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (SGEI).

The conference starts with a Master Class for Post Graduates, conducted by National

and International experts. It will involve case discussions, research methodology

and the art of writing scientific papers. On 21 November 2010 the CME will be a

comprehensive program aimed at wide coverage of the field of Gastroenterology

with an emphasis on clinical practice. A parallel Basic Sciences research

methodology is also being held. This workshop focuses on current research areas

in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The next three days would be the main

Congress. The Scientific Committees of ISG, INASL and SGEI have put together an

outstanding program consisting of State-of-the-art lectures,debates,symposiums,

video sessions, focusing on both contemporary clinical problems and advances

in Basic Sciences.The main meeting will be followed by Live Endoscopy workshop

from Asian Institute of Gastroenterology transmitted to the Convention Center. In

addition to basic therapeutic endoscopy, several new exciting procedures like

ablation of dysplastic and early malignant lesions, Biodegradable Stents and newer

and more effective techniques to remove Common Bile Duct (CBD) and Pancreatic

Ductal Stones will be demonstrated.

In addition to the excellent academic programme, traditional Hyderabadi

hospitality and cuisine await your arrival.
