IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Comptroller of Customs and Excise under the Customs Act, Chap. 78:01, I, Fitzroy A.John, Comptroller of Customs and Excise, acting under the provisions of section 263(2) of the said Act, do hereby appoint the placespecified in the Schedule hereunder to be a Private Warehouse for the storage, pending entry for home consumption or export, of thefollowing goods, as shall be warehoused by or in the Private Warehouse of Messrs Ansa McAl International Trading Ltd.,Ansa McAl Centre, Corner of Uriah Butler Highway and Rodney Road, Chaguanas–Alcoholic Beverages, Mixed Groceries, Cosmetics,Household Appliances, Furniture, Automotive Parts, Industrial Goods, Mechanical and Electrical Equipment and parts and such othergoods as I may subsequently approve.

SCHEDULE

That part of the building, constructed of concrete walls and B.R.C. wire mesh with galvanized and concrete roof,comprising two rectangular areas totaling 599.817 square metres, within the southern-central and western section of thesecond building from north to south, forming part of the Ansa McAl Industries Warehouse Complex, owned by Ansa McAl andsituated in the Ansa McAl Centre, Corner of Uriah Butler Highway and Rodney Road in the Borough of Chaguanas.

The dimensions of the Private Warehouse starting with one rectangular area in the southern-central section of thebuilding referred to in the first paragraph of this schedule are: 36.576 metres east to west and 8.229 metres north to southcomprising a total of 300.984 square metres and is enclosed by B.R.C. wire mesh on the north and east and concrete walls onthe south and west, with a built in gate on the west through which access is gained. This area is bounded on the east by theTransit Shed and part of the Customs area abutted by Lange Park formerly part of Montrose Estate; on the west by part ofthePrivate Warehouse abutted by lands of Ansa McAl and abutted by the Uriah Butler Highway; on the north by StandardDistributors Storage Area abutted by lands and buildings of Ansa McAl and abutted by Rodney Road and on the south bylands of Ansa McAl abutted by Trinidad Publishing Company Limited.

The other area being a rectangular area in the western section of the aforementioned building measures 12.192 metreseast to west and 24.689 metres north to south (excluding that portion of a recessed area totalling 2.090 square metres)comprising a total of 298.833 square metres and enclosed by concrete walls. The dimensions and messuage of the Private Warehouse starting with one rectangular area in the southern centralportion of the section of the building referred to in the first paragraph of this schedule are: 36.6 metres from east to west by 13.411 metres north to south and is enclosed by B.R.C. wire mesh on the north and east and concrete walls on the south andwest. This area is bounded on the east by part of the Customs Area; on the west by part of the Private Warehouse; on the northby the Transit and on the south by lands of Ansa McAl abutted by Bhagwansingh’s Hardware.

The other area on the western side of the aforementioned section of the building measures 12.2 metres east to west by24.39 metres north to south and is enclosed by concrete walls with a concrete roof which forms the mezzanine floor of theTransit Shed. Alstons Shipping Limited, Ansa MCAl Centre, Corner of Uriah ButlerHighway and Rodney Road, Chaguanas and which said appointment was published as Notice No. 64, dated 29th December, 2008, inthe Trinidad and Tobago Gazette (Extraordinary) No. 6, dated 15th January, 2009.

SCHEDULE I–CUSTOMS AREA

An area totaling 2,641.447 square metres comprising three (3) smaller rectangular areas located within the southernsection of the third building north to south and one (1) smaller rectangular area in the adjoining parking area east of the saidsection of the said building, forming part of the Ansa McAl Industries Warehouse Complex owned by Ansa McAl and situate inthe Ansa McAl Centre, Corner of Uriah Butler Highway and Rodney Road, in the District of Chaguanas.

The dimensions of the Customs Area starting with the parking area which is outside the front of the said section of thesaid building on the eastern side are 25.3 metres west to east from the concrete wall on the eastern side of the aforementionedsection of the building and 65 metres north to south, starting from a point in line with the concrete wall separating the saidsection of the said building on the south, housing the Customs Area, Transit Shed and Private Warehouse, from StandardDistributors Warehouse on the north. This area is demarcated by painted yellow lines and signage on the north, east andsouth and on the west partly by the eastern wall of the aforementioned section of building and partly by a yellow painted line.It is bounded on the north and south by lands of Ansa McAl abutted by Rodney Road to the north and Bhagwansingh’sHardware to the south; on the east it is bounded by the perimeter wall abutted by Lange Park formerly part of MontroseEstate and on the west partly by the aforementioned section of the building and lands of Ansa McAl.

The second area is a holding bay within the eastern side of the said section of the said building measuring 12.2 metreseast to west by 24.39 metres north to south. This area is enclosed with concrete walls on the north, east and south and B.R.C.wire mesh on the west. It is bounded on the north by Standard Distributors Warehouse abutted by lands and buildings of AnsaMcAl which is abutted by Rodney Road; on the east by the parking area which forms part of the Customs Area; on the south bylands of Ansa McAl abutted by Bhagwansingh’s Hardware and on the west partly by the Transit Shed and partly by thePrivate Warehouse. The third area is in the northern central portion of the aforementioned section of the building measuring36 metres east to west by 10.979 metres north to south. This area is enclosed by concrete walls on the north and west andB.R.C. wire mesh on the south and east. It is bounded on the north by Standard Distributors Warehouse abutted by lands andbuildings of Ansa McAl which is abutted by Rodney Road; on the west by part of the Private Warehouse, on the south by partof the Private Warehouse and on the east by part of the Customs Area.

The fourth area is a mezzanine floor on the western side of the building measuring 12.2 metres east to west by 24.39 metres north to south. This area is enclosed by concrete walls on the north, west and south and partly by B.R.C. wiremesh on the east in the area overlooking the Private Warehouse, with the remaining area overlooking part of the TransitShed, free, for access to the mezzanine floor. It is bounded on the north by Standard Distributors Warehouse abutted by landsand building of Ansa McAl, which is abutted by Rodney Road; on the West by lands of Ansa McAl abutted by Uriah ButlerHighway; on the South by lands of Ansa McAL abutted by Bhagwansingh’s Hardware and on the East, the area overlooks partof the Transit Shed and part of the Private Warehouse.

SCHEDULE II–Transit Shed

That part of the building constructed of concrete walls, B.R.C. wire mesh and galvanized roof comprising two rectangularareas totaling 699.389 square metres located within the Customs Area which is described in paragraph one (1) of Schedule I.

The dimensions and messuage of the Transit Shed are the same as described in paragraphs four (4) and five (5) as thethird and fourth areas respectively in Schedule I.
