Studies, Participants, Results & Analysis

My Studies, Participants, Results and analysis were all based on my survey’s. Just typing war in the Marianas alone, I came to a result of over 250,000. however, it was my survey’s that really gave me a huge boost for my research paper. For studies, in my survey, I handed out ten key questions to participants to answer that I could really use for my date in my E portfolio. The ten questions were very helpful as it gave me not just valuable information to put in my research paper but the answers also gave me patterns in which I noticed that would later be attached on my Literature Review. There were about 14 to be exact participants that answered my survey. Each question was very valuable as it gave different kinds of information and patterns to each question I gave. The participants fallowed instructions, some gave me what I expected them to say, some gave me different answers that were also very valuable to me for my data and collections area. The results and analysis concluded that most of the participants agreed that dropping the atomic bomb was the right to go. An answer I too suspected that everyone would pick. That pattern that was later discovered was that most female participants answered “no” to the atomic bomb question. An answer I think females answered “no” because they had a sensitive spirit in answering the question. It was a pattern that was exciting to find because I never expected it until the results came in. results too show that people believed that we should better our preservation on our historical sights. An answer I was happy to hear because I too believe it should be done. This was a very important section for me because it answered a lot of my data and Literature Review for me.

Discussions

The purpose and significance of my findings is to let the readers know the importance the Marianas islands has brought to the Americans in World War 2. I have used over and over again my Literature Review in which it backs up my statements. My Literature Review gives all the data and information that proves significance of the Marianas in World War 2. Many people fail to see how our islands were key strategies for American forces. The strengths of my findings include the Atomic Bomb article that was held in Tinian, and other articles like the attack of Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Philippines that were very similar to the war in the Marianas. The Literature says that the Mariana and Palau islands campaign, also known as Operation Forager, was an offensive launched by United States forces against Imperial Japanese across the pacific. It was intended to neutralize Japanese bases for a strategic bombing campaign against Japan. This project looks at how the Marianas became a huge asset for the United States during World War Two. It shows the impact the Marianas brought for the Americans victory in World War two.

Future Actions

For future plans, I hope that people see the Marianas in a whole different perspective. Perhaps protecting or conserving our historical monuments would be a good things for our islands. This research paper was all informative but also to encourage citizens of the Marianas to respect our historical sights. Remembering what the islands had done for the Americans is what we are known for. I hope that we recognize the importance the Marianas has brought to the Americans in World War two to defeat the Imperial Japanese. Its is an academic lesson that we should gain knowledge on.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Marianas Islands campaign, also known as Operation Forager, was an offensive launched by United States forces against Imperial Japanese across the pacific. It was intended to neutralize Japanese bases in the central pacific, support the allied drive to retake the Philippines, and provide bases for a strategic bombing campaign against Japan. This project looks at how the Marianas became a huge asset for the United States during the World War two era. It shows the impact the Marianas brought for the Americans Victory in World War two.
