    BILOXI BASEBALL HISTORY: Pro baseball is not totally new to the Gulf Coast, but it is the rst since 1908. TheGulfport-Biloxi Sand Crabs of the Cotton States League played half a season in Biloxi during the summer of 1908.Many Major League and som Minor League teams held spring traing in the area.
