Sprouts, now available from Monrovia, Calif.-based Trader Joe’s, are said to be a cross between Brussels sprouts and kale. The sprouts are described as tender, yet crisp when cooked, with a nutty, slightly sweet flavor. They are microwavable and retail in an 8-oz. plastic bag.

t H-E-B Tex’s BBQ Fixins

Green Beans, Tomato and

Bacon are made with real bacon. New from San Antonio-based H-E-B, the “Fixins” are said to be inspired by authentic sides found at barbecue joints all over the Lone Star state. The gluten-free product is microwaveable and retails in a 14-oz. flexible stand-up pouch.

Syrup is naturally flavored and free from artificial colors and preservatives. Available from Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer Inc., the shelf-stable syrup is said to be made with pure ingredients and to have “a better taste.” It is USDA Organic-, Ecocert- and kosher-certified, and retails in a 24-oz. glass bottle.
